Name is important with you?

I believe it is very important to pronounce our names properly because that is our pride and glory. Some also don't know how to pronounce my name well but I let them be because there are actually to ways to pronounce it. I'm cool with either of it. But, for some, it's not cool because they are used to it's pronunciation and we should respect that. If we have issues pronouncing a name, we can always ask how it is being pronounce before we actually call them.

I'm surprized that you have the strength to hold a conversation with them. I remember after I got my first loan from a bank some years ago, now that they had my details on their system it seems the calls for life cover, insurance, more loans, more insurance, investment profile, credit cards, last will and testament services, you name it the calls came streaming in at the most inappropriate times. At first I always listened to what they were calling about first, but after I got fed up I got into the habit of saying "Thank you for calling; I am not buying new services at this time" or "I'm happy with things as they are" and hanging up. I'm still working on an even shorter response that won't sound rude :) If they didn't even get my name right you say? I guess I can rightfully say "sorry, wrong number" and hang up. No such person here.

i will get irritated too if someone called me by wrong name. Sometimes i just keep quiet, but if often they called me by wrong name, i will correct for name Name is of course important, we would love the person call our name properly unless you kind of person who love to change name.
