It seems like whenever I feel sick or under the weather I complain to my Honey and he always says "Do I look like a Doctor"?, "What do you want me to do about it"?, "Why you're telling me"?. Which he's got a point since there is nothing he can do to cure me but he can give me some loving care and chicken noddle soup, or get my blanky and pillow so I can lay on the couch. So today my poor BIG BABY isn't feeling good and his throat hurts and he's fluish...Sorry not funny , but now it's like, Can you get me some Nyquil, my head hurts, my throat hurts.....I'm sicky WHO'S THE BABY NOW I ASK? Are all man babies when there sick or just mine?

Hi Missybear, My husband is such as big baby when he is sick. He wants me to weight on him hand and foot, but when I am sick I have to ask him for things. I never understood why men can get away with things like this and us women can't.

Okay, the whining has to stop. If the partner is sick enough to whine he is sick enough to see the doctor. I speak disparagingly of my hubby but I mostly do not mean it.I am jokingly joining in with this discussion. (have to say that, he is a member here.) He seldom gets sick at all. He used to hurt himself periodically though and go to the ER. I know I whine when I am sick and he is gracious enough to help me out, if the whining gets loud enough or I am specific enough. They just do not have the gene for telling what we need without a detailed repair manual. Tell him to feel better soon.

All of them. Every single one of them. We ran up even quite a few ER bills because of you know who.

He's quite the opposite if it comes to the doctor....he won't go at all but he whines about how bad he feels.

I think all men are that way at least I know mine is us women are expected to carry the weight of the world even when we are sick but when the man gets sick its like he thinks the world should stop turning on its axis and cater to him

hi dear missybear my hubs is no big baby most of the time when he is sick. He knows where his meds are and takes them and most of the time he sleeps his sickness off. I am fretting about him way too much when he is unwell and hope I wont "get on his nerves" with that.
