3 year anniversary

me and my husbands anniversary will be coming up on July 19th. we didnt get a honeymoon and we have never really had our anniversary just the 2 of us. we dont mind doing things with our kids so dont get me wrong.
well this year i want to do something special for him because the past years we hva just decided together not to do much because we couldnt afford it and we really cant afford a lot right now either but i have a few months to put a little money back. we both love fishing and camping so i was thinking a whole weekend just for that where ever he would like to do it at but we do this many times so it isnt really something special and new.
any ideas for a gift or something special i can do for him for a 3 year anniversary??
any ideas are greatly appricaited :)

I'm searching for discussions that can help me find a better gift for my bf on our 6th anniversary and I found your discussion. My gifts to my bf are really for long distance relationship kind of things so you really wouldn't like it. Your plan would be great since you two love that. And your kids will be there and I'm sure they too will love that idea. I sure do hope you will have a great time with your family on your 3rd year anniversary

Early happy anniversary. I will try and think of some ideas. I can't think of any great ones right off hand. What type of gifts does your husband like? What are things that he is interested in. If you look in those areas I'm sure you will be able to think of something that makes it personal.

thank you but i honestly wouldnt call it all that happy right now. no offence thank you for the reply and after a lot of thinking i am still going to try and do something very special for him. things are not going so great right now and i am not sure he will be here then but either way i want to do something nice for him.
he LOVES to go fishing but we have already bought almost everything he needs for that. he is interested in game systems but he no longer wants a ps2 like we had he wants the xbox or wii but he would prefer the playstation 3 lol. those are just way to expensive right now. he needs a new computer so i want to get him a laptop but i am not sure i have enough time to save up for that now. there are a lot of possibilities but i cant think of what to do lol. along with the gift i wanted to have a perfect night and enjoy ourselves. if hes not here i dont know if he will want to but it is worth a try and i am hoping to plan a HUGE night for me and him :)

mmm love that. its really nice to hear that you would be doing it with your kids. i would say that you try buy something very simple .. simple to the last. that thing that comes from your inner mind that its been long both make use of but important. hope have helped

its a good idea and i thank you for it but dont take it into offence but it doesnt really matter now. its hard to explain right now for me but im sure ill post a discussion maybe tomorrow or the next day. like i said dont think it is you it just doesnt matter when our anniversary is or what i do for it for him.....
