Here we only wear jeans and T-shirts at office. Almost people don't wear other clothes. Such as: dress, skirt, chemise, trousers,...etc...
I love to wear beautiful clothes at office. But no one do that, so, I'm too. I think that the office will be for excited if employees wear beautifully and appropriate.
Do you think so?

Definitely, people in the office wearing beautiful clothes can really make a dull one to a lively office and can bring an atmosphere full of positive vibes. Some working places have an office uniform to avoid some personnel using provocative clothes and most of all for economical reasons - save money for buying expensive and beautiful clothes. And for other company, a dress code is being observe. I really like it to be in a uniform. That's why I chose to work in a hospital, so I can used a white uniform, scrub suits and rubber shoes. I believe that we have the right to wear anything in the office as long as it is clean, decent, comfortable to us. Needless to say, it conform to our company policies.

That's right. I love to wear uniform too. However, they're sometimes boring. So, I think that we only wear them 4 days. At the end working day, we can wear what clothes we like. Do you think so?

good day tkonlinevn,
with reference to your post, it does not matter if you will dress up a bit different to what has been seen everyday. perhaps, it will be better to wear something different from the rest. and you are right, it is really appropriate to dress up accordingly in the office except if you are working in a factory type or any production department, hence, in this you just need to wear a casual look.

We have a dress code at the office, so we can't be shabby when going to work. But, I still wear simple clothes - a pair of slacks and a simple blouse. I like my co-workers who wear dresses and skirts, but, I just can't find the confidence to wear them. We can wear jeans and shirts only on Fridays.

I think give it shot. Wear clothes that you wanted to wear wherein you think that you look nice and comfortable to wear. I think it is your choice and free will to dress up the way you like as long as you dont hurt other people. Maybe there will some who will react when you change you style or way of dressing up but so be it. Dont bother with them as long as you are happy and comfortable with it.

Hi tkonlinevn!
I work in a university. I am a member of the teaching staff. Here, we are required to wear our prescribed uniform. Otherwise, we have to wear corporate attire. It is only during Fridays that we are allowed to wear jeans and rubber shoes. In my case, I have several pieces of corporate attire as I do not really like the designs of our uniform. Considering the nature of my work, I prefer to wear clothes that I am comfortable in. I wouldn't want to sacrifice comfort for fashion. But if I could enjoy both, why not?

Why shouldn't you wear nice clothes if that's what you want to wear? You are free to wear whatever it is you want. If your comfortable doing it, then go! We were anything we want in the office as well. We can even wear shorts, and I wear shorts especially when the weather is really hot. I wear nice clothes only when I feel wearing it. I don't care if others wear the normal jeans and tshirts. As long as I am comfortable and happy with what I am wearing, I wear it.

I'm working now in a company that don't have uniform so I'm having difficulty just coming up with decent clothes to wear. I'm a person who likes to wear classy clothes but they are more expensive and I need to save more money to purchase more important things than clothes for work. Besides, I'm the only girl in the office so wearing flashy clothes is really not essential unless there is a huge meeting or Top Management gathering.

That's right. But what will you do if your colleagues don't like that? They only want to wear jean and pull????
