My hair is long and black. All people often say that my hair will be more beautiful if I straighteners. However, I like a natural hair. Besides, I scare that my hair would be damaged. One more reason, I scare that I can't turn back the natural hair after that. So, I did not straighteners. Do you think that I should straighteners once to experiment a new style?

Don't do that. Just have a regular hair treatment. I straightened my hair every year and now my hair is very dull and dry looking.

I'm sorry to hear about your hair. Don't be sad about it. You can care it much more than natural hair. I'll keep my hair natural. I don't like straightener every year :(

Long straight hair natural or by straightener? I think these are two different style.

I think it depends on how you see your hair now. I had good looking hair when I was young but eventually, it was pretty obvious that my genes have changed and the quality of my hair changed as well. I used to have black, straight, shiny hair but soon it was just wavy, dry, and didn't look soft at all, not to mention that it would look puffed out when the wind was strong. I had to do something about it, else I would look like the leading monster in 'the Ring' When I first decided to go and rebond my hair, I was hesitant because I also thought "What if it will become worse?!" "What if they just fall out bald on me!?" and all other 'hesitations'. But soon, after things were done, I felt great. It wasn't as puffy, I really didn't need to comb it much during the day, there was a good luster to it and it 'calmed' my hair. I guess the one thing you should remember with hair is "never be cheap on it". If you tend to look for the cheapest possible price then you will get the cheapest possible treatment and those cheap things just destroy hair. You can use all the cheap products on something else, but never your crowning glory. So be sure to keep that in mind, once its ruin, it will be ruined forever. Good luck! Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

Thank you very much for your sharing. My hair look well now. It's not straight a bit. So, my mother and everyone said that I should straighter it. I think I should use other method to make my hair more straight. I'll wait for more time. If my hair look bad, I'll go to the hair salon!

I think you should leave your hair alone and maybe try a different style or length if you want a change. All straighteners will do some sort of damage, and once the damage is done, it may never be repaired! My hair is very curly and I hated it when I was younger. Everyone else had straight hair, andI wanted the same. Now, I appreciate that it is curly, and try to make it as curly as possible!

It's interesting! I believe that you must look romantic. One of my colleagues has curly hair. His hair looks beautiful and romantic.

If your hair is naturally straight then no need to try hair straightener because it will just makes your weak and break easily. I am using one that is why I know. Although I invest in much expensive one so that it has this coating that protects my hair and making the damage less.

Maybe you're right. I should keep my hair straight naturally. It's better than straight artificial.

I don't straighten my hair, either. No matter how you use it, it§s going to cause damage to the hair. And most people who use it... for most of them, it doesn't do anything spectacular, just makes their hair straight, sometimes unnaturally straight. I think natural hair is always beautiful... and I don't really get this straight hair craze either. Especially those with pretty unique curly hair...

My hair has always been dull and wavy and is really not that healthy. I have tried to straighten my hair a lot of times already, so I would suggest you not to do it because it will really not bring any good to your hair but to damage it even more because of the chemicals hair straighteners has.

No, you can if you want of course as it's your hair but I did once and I regretted it. I used a chemical straightener on my hair and it was a big mistake. After that I couldn't get one ounce of curl into my lifeless hanging hair. It also started to fall out. Never again. If you want to see what straight hair will look like just purchase a flat iron. It is a like a curling iron, it heats up, but it is flat. Then it's not permanent.

Maybe you should buy a flat iron. I hope that it's not dangerous for hair.
