Hi friends and lotters
Most of us (at least people who have existed for more than 7 months now) would be aware of a Lotter friend HWG (Hard working gurl). She was a great lotter and one of my best friends on this website. Something wrong happened (I am unsure of - what) but she hasnt been seen around for so many long months. I am sure many of us do MISS her.
Yesterday, I was on her profile page to drop in another PM (my emails to her have either got returned or went unresponded).And the status on her profile was - Last Logged in - 1 day ago.
I am not sure if that was HWG herself who logged in or even whether she would continue mylotting or not, but I did feel happy about the fact that the account was used. At least this tells me that she is alive, and may be in good health - and occupied with some other works important to her.
There are a few others too whose profiles I do keep returning to, but unfortunately, they havent logged in for a while now. I can only pray they are doing fine and are in good health.
For all those who make good friends, please stay in touch with your good friends so that at least they know how are you doing. You never know, what your friendship can mean to a few if not many.

This is sweet thesids. I find it amazing how people in this community give importance to the friendships that has been created here. I am a member here for less than three months now and I have already met well-meaning people whom I consider friends now. Just like you who have been in myLot for years now, I wish I could find friends who has the same concern as you

many believe that Internet is anonymous, and virtual. One of my friends here (also on the missing list now) says - It is humans at both the ends of this virtual world and we humans do have a heart and emotions. I completely agree with her.
I am certain that as you grow old here, you are surely going to meet and find people who match your thoughts, views and the friendships would start. Now, it would be all up to you and the friend on how you go ahead with it.
And yes, my FR to you is already on its way for you to accept or deny

I was talking to you yesterday only about her when i was in Sakhigopal, i had checked her profile earlier, saw she logged 6 months ago, she is a daughter to me and gave me emails always, i got her last mail more than 7 months ago, she said her niece was having cancer

Yes, HWGs last discussion mentioned her niece succumbing to cancer, hwg having severe migraines and ever since she didnt appear on any discussion. Her profile was updated a few months back when she wrote - "Sorry friends I am not myself these days. I will try and participate soon" - and I couldnt even know what was keeping her away.
I am not sure if she would return and re-start posting or commenting but I do pray for her wellness and good health.

For me I was on here all the time a few years ago and then i took a few years break, not really sure why but i just faded away from my lot. Now as of last week i am back on My lot!! Maybe HWG just needed a break from every thing and will decide some time that she misses my lot and wants to come back :) I didn't realize how much i missed my lot until I started back up again

I can understand the "taking breaks from MyLot" but dear, this time it is more than a 7 month break and that is what has been the cause of worries. If only I could have an email from her or even a response to my PMs, things would have been much better and for good of all of her well wishers

i too wasn't around and so i didn't know what all is happening here and who has gone missing. there may be something that would not have allowed her to come online and interact. but i agree with you that friends should and must try to stay in touch and inform other friends about their absence. It at least scrapes down some of the worries. I hope she is in good health and doing fine, might be she is on other trip with her family and am sure as soon as she will find some time to be herself, she will drop in here.

yes, I know you too have been missing from the list of regular lotters and I do understand that you have your family to attend to and also the profession. but still, if you were away for a longer while, I would have PMed you or even asked praaji to find some information about you.
like you, I do agree that we should stay more connected. In your case, at least there are some who can inform me but wrt our dear HWG, almost all are unaware of her well-being or anything. That makes things worrysome for sure.

i guess even your praji is missing. he is no longer using his older profile and am half sure if i have caught him with his new profile. i just hope all the regular loters come back again so that we can again have same fun as before.

Did you see the message at the top of her profile? That appeared about two months ago and I am thinking that it was indeed posted by HWG as not everyone would know how to manouvre inside a myLot profile.
I too have had no responses to emails for months and miss her tremendously 
All we can do is keep her in our thoughts and trust that one day out of the blue she will reappear and all will be back to normal agin.

Yes, I too saw the one on the top left corner on the profile. You are right - for a novice it is not that easy to understand. That does raise my hopes that at least HWG is alive. I have had horrible thoughts until a few days back about her. You know, as long as we keep interacting somewhere, at least we are somewhat aware and happy that the other one is ok if not great.
The trust of her returning is more stronger ever since I saw this last logged in status. It has been really long that she is away and now she should return

Thanks for this update. Before I had to take a forced hiatus I was noticing that HWG was not around. I sent some emails to her that went unanswered and was concerned myself. I was thinking maybe she had moved and was busy with that. Hopefully, she'll get back to us when she can.

Yes, i am aware of this friend though i didn't have much interaction. It is good to know that people are still missing her presence here and the friends are really concerned about her too. Hope some of the members here might be having a personal touch and they can throw more light on this.
Regarding the status of 'logged 1 day ago', i think she is busy somewhere but did not want her profile to 'get deleted' so keep it alive, she might have signed in.
By the way, did you get any response for the PM?

I understand that you joined mylot around the time she went offline and this is one and only reason. Else, I am sure, you would have met her on so many discussions
I know, my PM will not be responded but as always I am hopeful and positive that it will. Thinking against the tide.
For the ATM, I have been hit by Sun Stroke already and am at home since the past 3 days. I am not moving out anytime unless she arrives or the temperatures fall and it starts raining. Once rains set in, I will prefer bathing in the rain that going to the ATM

This discussion is really touching me, I too missed a good friend. I checked her mylot profile page and it said the last time she logged in was 7 months ago and the last time she updated her profile was 10 months ago. I hope she is doing fine, the last time I talked to her when her hubby was on the way to come home (her husband is working overseas and when her husband at home she doesnt use internet a lot).

I have a list of 7 lotters who have gone missing over the past stay here - though the numbers are more, but these 7 are the ones who matter. Some have even resurfaced but these 7 arent seen anywhere. And you know me personally too... so you can very well imagine my concerns and worries for these friends

I owe a lot of my Lotting to MysD (on the next box), HWG and Owlwings. Of the trio, Owlwings is not on my FR yet and I am sure some day soon we would be friends. (I am just a little hesitant as always in taking my first steps). And HWG has always been so very encouraging, friendly and yet a guide to me. I miss her so much

Hi thesids. I don't really know the person you are talking about, but it seems that she is the kind of greatful and helpful people. I'm new on Mylot, and I do really expect having great friends that would share opinions and knowledge with me, with whom I can interact and at the same time give and share whatever can be shared and why not getting to know them much more. Anyway, I just want to say that I'm somehow feeling involve in you'r story. I'm happy for you and I'm hoping that she will return soon to her friends on Mylot.

This virtual world is so amazing!! The contacts we make here goes deep into our heart and stays on. Personally, I get more bonded to online friends than real ones!! I've had many such bondings, breakups, vanishing of friends without hint, coming back all such stuff in almost all the sites that I've been with - mobile sites and regular sites.
Some changed strangely, went away without even telling the reason, and broke friendship for a reason that only God knows!! I was so attached to some people that I even remember their birthdays, without noting down anywhere!
Hope our HARDWORKING GURL sees this discussion and REGRETS for going away from all of you without notice Hope she is alright and be back soon.

I Know, many of us (older lotters at least 7+ months old) have met her, interacted with her and have missed her. She has been one of the 3 pillars at MyLot. Unfortunately no one knows anything about her since she went offline or doesnt want to share any news about her. So when I found a change on her profile status, I made this information available to all her wellwishers here. I know prayers and hopes can change courses of many things, so it is just my attempt to get all the wishes together for her and hope that she does get back to mylot

My dear kind and sensitive Bro, for the sake of myLot...and dear friends like you, I,too pray that your good friend HWG is just taking a pleasant hiatus. But, even tho, she was not on my Friends List, we did interact often..and I can certainly understand your consternation in not being able to communicate. I, too, pray that it is just a much needed "mental vacation" as she was so very active here...and maybe just burnt out.
Aside from that, things can go awry...in my recent hiatus..I did e-mail you, to ease your mind, and appraise you of my silence...and for some odd reason, my server could NOT deliver the message! Thank you...so very much, for sharing the news of our dearly and often thought of; fjaril! One that consistently crosses my mind....with a great deal of feeling of loss!
I am sorry of your being "under the weather" due to the weather. Wished I could transport some of our COOL late Spring, to you!

our dear friend frajil too is unseen and had logged in about a week ago. Yet no responses to any of my PMs. Gabs logged in about a month ago and no discussions or participations from her. And our dear Ms Hatley too logged in 4 days ago yet no updates from her (though there was a discussion that informed us of her computer breaking down).

I think I remember HWG but I never interact with her too much. But then let me say, it's good that you check other friends profiles from time to time. Well, it feels wonderful to have friends whom you can share things with specially here, even though we don't know each other that much, we still communicate and the opinions we shared can be really helpful to others that makes us closer to one another.
I, too have friends whom have gotten sick that can't be seen active here anymore.
I just hope she's always fine. She was very active here back then, but when she got sick she stopped being in here casue I think she feels more depressed or I don't really know.

Going by her last discussion, yes, she wasnt in the right set of health or even mental state. But knowing her, being a strong persona, I am sure she would have moved on.

I too wondered what happened to her. I missed her responses on my discussion. Glad to hear that you somehow managed to check her out though we really are not sure if it was her or not.
My computer never logs out of mylot but the moment somebody opens Chrome mylot is right there in front of them and it might show that i have logged in even if i didn't. My son uses my pc sometimes, my husband, rarely.
