Hello Lotters,
Manny has absolutely done his best during his boxing career. but i saw something that this fight isn't something that i have watch before. he was more on the fighting with the defense. some people thinks it's the mafia thing or they rigged it. but i will leave it to he experts, but i think he was on the verge of leaving his prime.
I don't even think Manny cares if he lost as long as he does his job. but i bet a lot of people are MAD and angry for loosing for that freaking BET.
what do you think.

I think that Manny deserved the win. Even many of the expert analysts say so. I just feel sad that things like this happen. I would have accepted the decision if it was clearly an unmatched fight and there was real show that Manny deserved to lose. I just don't like the fact that after the obvious win, a different decision was handed down. Anyway, I do agree that Manny is no longer as fierce and fast as he was before. He obviously lost his edge probably because of his new lifestyle, but with this fight I was certain Manny won unlike the fight with Marquez which I did think that Manny should have not won. Well, anyway, there would probably be a rematch. In fact some people are saying that this lost was made so that Manny won't retire yet. They are just rumors. Facts are facts, the replay can show them. One other fact is win or lose, Manny is still super rich. Hehehe!

Hello Choybel, I don't think manny pacquiao deserved in anyway to lose, but I can see how slowed he has become. If only he wasn't doing other stuff besides boxing, there's no way he could easily get that tired. and I have noticed that he's training is kinda too much, that sometimes he gets cramps just like the mosley fight. they want a rematch, then fine, good luck to them both. Have a nice day to you.

that one possible way to get defeat on top of the ring is due to religion, as religion only makes you less aggressiveness, and besides, God won't allow for His follower to hurt a fellow opponent, you should give bread to your opponent instead of hit back punch to retaliate...

Well I guess I can agree with you on the same thing. Age is catching up with Manny already. He could have taken this as his last opportunity on grabbing a clean slate for his boxing career but it seems like he did not and will have to have a rematch on his fight with Bradley.
For some unknown reason I saw in this fight a slightly unfocused Manny that hoped he could grab his belt by a unanimous decision but he failed to do it. If he used that same tactics of fighting fast and swift like he used to be in the past he oould have preserved his belt. But I guess he choose the long way and wanted to prolong the game. I guess this has something to do with sponsors, of course sponsors would want a longer fight so they can insert their plugs longer in the show.
Of course I felt bad that Manny lose in this game though. Being a Filipino it seems like we lose that prestige in the boxing arena because of this. I just hope in the rematch we could recover that image and I guess Manny should not think twice if he would still continue his boxing career because since his last fight before this he has shown that he is slowing down already which is just what the newer and stronger fighters here would want to grab this opportunity to take his belt away.

I was basing my comparison with his fight with Margarito which I think he was badly beaten but of course he remained strong in the fight until the end. Whereas in this fight he drastically slowed down which was taken by Bradley and took it as his opportunity to show his strength out which impressed the judges watching him.
I think he should go back to the old Pacman that fights strongly and not wait for it to reach round 12. I think that is what we Pinoys were looking for at this fight but it did not because Pacquiao wants to satisfy the promoters and sponsor of this game to prolong the game for them to take advantage of the fight. I think he did not take this fight seriously as before. Having 26Million guaranteed income made him laxed and not so serious hoping that the people's support in the background is enough to retain his title. A lesson he needs to re-learn again.

Hello Rsa101, I think that was just one lost compare to the previous boxers experiences. Besides, before Manny lost he had six different titles.Other's seemed to have lost it all after a tiring fight. He did what he thought was right besides, he's a family man, i don't think hate would be such a word right now. It's just a belt anyways, he's got more than he can afford and his accomplishments are history now, it will not be forgotten by boxing analyist. Have a nice day.

I think Manny is not slowing down as age is concerned, and I think that Manny already thought that he already owns the scoring on 9 rounds, maybe decided on the late rounds to slow down, no need to show some aggression on the last three rounds, and he never expect that slowing down is a favor to Bradley, the same thing on what happened to their previous fight between Manny Pacquiao versus Erik Morales...
advantage on scoring is not a guarantee to beat Morales, but, buy knocking Erik Morales 3 times then, those judges are hard for them to doctor the score cards...
I think Manny should knock out Bradley on the early rounds to eliminate discrepancies...

I haven't watched the fight because I was on my way to the city from the province and when I arrived, I heard the news then. It didn't shocked me or it didn't amaze me when Bradley because we both know these two fighters are good ones. I am also not a boxing fan so I really don't care about it . I just feel sorry for Manny because I know he has been more closer to God and is doing his job to serve the people and is also training hard for his every fight. He deserves to win. But, in every battle, there's always a loser. It's our pride who lost so we should just all accept it. Acceptance is part of life, hope the people in Twitting and posting pics and status on facebook would stop their crazy thoughts and accept the defeat. They could always go for a rematch, let's just do it that way rather than posting bad for the winner.

Actually, the betters was my first thought when I heard that Pacquiao had lost. It has been on the news that many people placed their bets on Pacquioa because he was the favorite and he was able to deliver the goods on his previous matches. I guess many people will now reconsider their position if Manny gets another fight.
Like you, I was not really affected when Many lost. I guess I was not surprised. I believe that very much is different and anything can happen. The favorite can lose or win. Nobody can predict what happened unless someone deliberately cheated the system. Anyway, it is up to the people to decide what they feel about this stuff. I bet the news tomorrow will have a field day.

Hello Gaiza, Besides one fighters is another fighters beginning. there's no such thing as a fighter who would last forever and Manny Had been fighting for a decade sure he will decade in time. besides, Donaire is still around and you know he might be a new inspiration to the Filipinos and entertain us in his fights. manny has done a lot already for our people and manny can really retire now. Have a nice day.

If there is a Mafia thing???? I'm sure Manny is not into it, I do not think he would exchange pride and honor for money ( he already has so much and he's kids were there for the first time) and especially with he's new found enlightenment. Anyway, 2 judges saw the fight going for Bradley and the rest of the world so it for Manny and most probably that includes Timothy himself, anyway all this is just my personal opinion and it's hard to judge, the same way it's hard to be the 2 other judges right now

Hello Louievill, I think a lot of people have gotten use to the fact that Manny has won. even the boxing count had been added all the time though. some say Bradley had few win rounds compare to Manny. but we will never know, though Bob Arum has demanded for an explanation and investigation, this is a test for every one in their loyalty to Manny Pacman. Have a nice day/

There is a time for everything. A time to be born, a time to die; a time to train and a time to fight; a time to win and a time to lose. Manny has a wonderful career; a wonderful journey as a boxer, as a politician, as an ordinary Filipino. He is the epitome of a courageous boxer, courageous father, courageous fighter. A great, great story of how an ordinary man like many of us, would rise from rags to riches, from mediocrity to fame. Manny is a changed or transformed person. I just hope and pray that his new found faith in God would lead him to more things for him, for others and for God in general. Good day.

Hello God is Good. I never really want him to be a politician but it seemed he can be a good influence to other people too. Sad to know he changed religion though it's a Christian I am more confined with him as a catholic. I mean, can't he be faithful in the same if he's Catholic? well, good luck to him. I hope he isn't promoting his new Christian religion to every body or i will be offended. Have a nice day.

If Manny had truly a changed of heart for God, then it's not about religion. It's about a personal relationship with God that matters. I think I need to make a research what really happened to him spiritually. In general, I am leaning to like what I'm seeing in him.

I kind of seen that he has a big chance of losing the game.. and it seemed as though he is already losing his will of the game. Like he is tamad or lazy to go against bradley and was just waiting for him to come on to him... it was rather a bit sad that he lost, yes we all wanted him to win... he kind of lost it without fighting harder... it seemed of course i did not know what it is really about as i am no expert in boxing.

Hello Chiyosan, This is all entertainment for us to watch and this is what the boxing business wanted us to do. but knowing no man would ever stand out against Manny so they probably rigged the whole thing. When he embraced too much of a religion, love and kindness, the agressiveness is lessen and hate can't be used into fight. Have a nice day.

According to Computer Sensor detects that out of 751 punches thrown by Pacquiao, 253 fists that landed and hit Bradley;
While Bradley out of 839 punches thrown, only 159 fist punches that landed to Manny.
While regarding power punches, Pacquiao throw 190 power punches that hit Bradley;
While Bradley throw only 108 power punches that hit Pacquiao.
According to Manual Scorecards,
Out of 12 Rounds, Manny Pacquiao dominated 8 Rounds while Timothy Bradley only owned 4 Rounds.
Now, a final decision that shock the whole world is already done...

Honestly, I felt bad when Manny lost. We were really disappointed of the results. But we were so proud of him despite of the loss he still faced it and never back down. That's the true spirit of an athlete. Lost or not, he faces challenges with a humble heart. I'm not an avid fan of him like my Dad but I like his passion. :)

Well, am not much of a fan in boxing but I am excited to see Manny pacman fight. there's nothing wrong with it actually but Filipinos should understand that it's all entertainment and shouldn't add the nationalistic thing in it. I like his passion too. Have a nice day.

I really do believe it was RIGGED. BIGTIME. have you seen the stats? its quite impossible that with Manny's caliber he would be defeated by Bradley ( honestly.) plus if you look at manny's previous fights especially during the times he defeated Barrera to Haton to Cotto..it was way way way far from what we have seen yesterday. So definitely it was rigged.
too bad for the Filipino people who expected more and yes a lot lost bets.

Hello Jazel_Juan, A lot of people are mad because they literally bet on Manny Pacquiao to win the match.they know he isn't fooling around and means business. If the Rigged was really, this is an insult to all the fans and all the trainings that he had gone through just to loose like that? so insane. but thanks to Manny's humility here, it lessened the anger of the mob. Have a nice day.

The first thing that popped out in my mind when the ring announcer said that there's a new champion it was Chavit. I'm sure he lost millions in that fight. Not unless, Bob Arum has warned him beforehand. A lot of people were disappointed but seeing manny smiling after hearing the news made a lot of difference.

Manny has enjoyed lots of victory in his boxing career and losing in this latest fight would not hurt so much if only he was judged based on actual performance. I am not very knowledgeable with boxing, actually i hate seeing a person hurting another but i have been watching Manny's fights eversince and i could say that in this fight he performed well, although he was not as aggressive as before. The scores, though unofficial showed that he got higher than Bradley. I'm just wondering what have gotten into those judges and how they feel after seeing and hearing the reactions of the people Filipinos and not Filipinos. Well, we just don't know why, but i hope Manny will win in the rematch.

Though gamblers have the right to hate simply he lost the fight, for the fans and supporters, i think we should follow his example in accepting defeat. I don't want to hate them, because I was entertained and Manny gets his own purse. Have a nice day.

Everybody in the house were watching Manny's game except me. Could hear them shouting and screaming and laughing. But when decision time came, everybody were disappointed.
I wasn't. I'm proud of Manny but i was never a fan of boxing. Never watched a single game of his.
I didn't feel bad for his loss because people believed he won the game. He acted like a real Christian would and that made me feel better.

Hello Toniganzon, I am so proud of him a lot more when he took the defeat well. it's like Jessica Sanchez when she took the lost well from Phillip Phillips during the AI finalle. I think him acting as a Christian became a great example for every one, that's role modeling and a lesson to every one that you don't win all the battles but you chose the ones you can, with a little faith. I also feel bad and upset with the judge's decisions. It was not fair. Some would say that this was actually because of money, for them to earn money from this fight because people would tend to request for a rematch. I don't like the way Bradley plays. He always hugs Pacquiao whenever he gets weak and loses his breath. He really plays dirty. I heard that Pacquiao was late because he was watching the NBA games pah. I don't know if that's true. His mother got fainted when she heard that her son lose the game.

Like millions (or even billions) of people around the world, I was definitely upset by the decision made by the judges. Although it wasn't a unanimous one, I still believe Pacquiao won over Bradley.
During the game, I observed that the referee seemed to favor Bradley. I said so, because every time Bradley caught Manny in his arms, the referee wouldn't go in between them. Relatively, when Manny caught Bradley in his arms, the referee was quick enough to discipline Manny. Well maybe, it was the mistake of my eyes. . . or maybe because Bradley and the referee are both American.
This boxing fight reminded me of another American show, the American Idol in particular. Well, Jessica is absolutely great. . . but just like the final results in boxing - she only came in second. Was it because she wasn't purely American, or was it because she came from a Filipino race? And I thought there was no discrimination in America anymore. Sorry, I was just thinking aloud.

Hello mykmari_08, That wasn't the issue before, but probably it was the same situation with the previous Marquez and Manny fight the first time. but that's because the judges and the referee were more inclined to marquez. hi LK,
am not much into sports really but when manny has a fight, i get glued on the tv set. it was a good fight but i think manny is getting older now.
i like the way he fought but i found him getting slower as the rounds get added. i find manny a good 5 rounder but when it gets to the 6th, he starts to get slow.
maybe there will be a rematch. lets wait and see.
have a nice day.

Hello TigerAunt, That's because Manny is a rare jewel to all of us to have hold six different titles. His own health conditions such as cramps in the leg has indefinitely slowed him down. I think he had too much of a training already compare to other trainings he had. maybe he should decrease it because maybe he isn't getting any younger, he can't afford to have too much of the training, there isn't too much. have a nice day.
