Now, that I have given my secret FB account (not my real name) , and have been identified as me, because of the profile picture (half body) , I have been so busy since last Saturday in clicking the photo albums of each former high school classmate that have requested me as their friends.
Also, I was happy that I was able to see them dance on the reunion that I didn’t attend , on our FB batch account. I was envious I wasn’t there, though I am happy that everybody was laughing and enjoying.
I am so happy that after 35 years i was able to see them, even if it's only at Fabcebook.

Isn't it amazing that even though you didn't use your real name, they were able to figure out your real identity? Who you really are? :) Maybe it's because of your profile picture. Maybe they really looked at your image and they were thinking if it was really you or not. Maybe when you accepted them as your friends, they had their hint it was really you.
It was good you were able to see their pictures in their photo albums. I know it might really made you smile. Facebook is really helpful in connecting to people you might haven't seen for a long time, just like you former high school classmates. It was good you saw the activities they were able to do in that reunion. It was good to know seeing those photos made you happy. So you won't remain feeling envious, you might as well communicate to them. Maybe if you might have your next reunion, you might be available and you could also attend. It would be fun seeing yourself with them in photos like those too. I'm sure you will love the feeling of being with them again. Maybe they already miss you. You should also meet them some other time, if you're available. =)

When my classmate posted me on our batch FB page, they asked her is that ____ , to make sure if it was really me. Then they asked why is she in a different name.
Thus, it's my time to explain - to avoid being seen by the IT people in our office , whenever i open my FB on my "no more work to do " moments.
My classmates keeps telling me at Facebook that they were really looking for me, specially my group of friends then.
Now, we are chatting and calling each other. Hopefully , we will all see each other in the coming days.

Social network sites really help alot to be connected to other people that we know but can't see due to distance but always use this sites responsibly. This sites really could help to satu connected and know what's happening to each other.

Yes, FB helps me and my classmates to be able to see each others' updates on life, ardoy.
At least even if we don't see one another in person, we already have the idea of how we look now.

Yes, it's one of the wonders of facebook. My friend who went to Canada right after graduation just came back after 9 years. It was easier to look for everyone to invite them for a get together for him. So yes, facebook does have its perks.

Yes, that's how our classmate was able to contact most of those from abroad. Though, she didn't have their phone numbers, she just search for them at FB through their maiden name and try to recognize their profile picture and information.
Such is the big advantage of having an FB account, which i think is the most common to all.

I also agree with you. We have just held our reunion last month with my classmates. Thanks to Facebook, this was all due to this networking site that we were able to hold our reunion. Some of those who have not attended also expressed their wishes that they should have been happy too.

Yes, mostly it was through FB that our classmates living abroad already were contacted. Though mostly didn't go home for the reunion, they did send dollars as contribution to the reunion.
Through FB they were able to see what transpired during the reunion.

Facebook is good in that way. You can feel the nostalgia of the past when you see old friends.

Yes, and i am glad i have a facebook account, even if it's not in my name.
I am really thankful that we have facebook . At least, even if i haven't seen them yet in person, i have seen how they are now.

I was surprised to see how well traveled some of my old classmates were. I even had one old friend who sings for an opera company in Germany.

And it's amazing how some lives already abroad and while others already have high positions in the government.
Makes me feel proud that they are my classmates and i know that if ever i need to go to the company they work with, i can pull some strings through them.

Initially I am so happy that I got connected with the old friends from school after leaving school days. But they are rarely in touch with me and also me with them to share our life even we are in friends list and whatso ever. I hate to be like that. I wish everyone should share there. Till today we didn't get any reunion. Hope it will happen in future.

Actually , in our batch, if it wasn't for one of my classmates who was so patient in tracking down where our classmates are, we wouldn't have that FB account for our batch.
In fact, she gets frustrated on me, because she would always inform me that we will be having reunion, but i would back out the last minute.
Hence, she was so happy that finally i met some of the locally based classmates , last night during the birthday celebration of one former classmate.
I think, somebody from your batch should have the patience to initiate a reunion, not rely on each other that someone will just initiate for them .

You have common friends and events to talk about specially when most of you are married and with children.
Can't help showing pictures of the family.

I was hesitant of giving my FB account to our batchmates at first. I just have the intention of meeting them again in person when there will be a reunion again.
But then, seeing the videos of my classmate of the reunion, made me decide to give her my FB account at our batch's FB page.
I realized i miss a lot in the past reunions.

Yes, that's true. At least we will know who can we turn to for some pulling of strings for those who are employed in the government.
And we can compare who became like this and that after 35 years. I have seen a lot of them have grown fat already.
Luckily, i did add some weight but because i was skinny then, it made me look better now that i added some weight.
