This Day Belongs to Me!!

I'm going to enjoy today. It belongs to me. Totally, 100% to me. I don't have to work today...yay! I can do what I want to do. I was supposed to go out for lunch with a friend but she had to cancel because her daughter is home from school. Am I angry? No! Am I disappointed? No! Why? Because it means that I am totally free today to do what I want to do! I have no laundry to do because it was all done yesterday. So... I can spend the day cuddled up with a good book (I am currently reading The Book of Negroes). I could and maybe I will for a little bit but not for the WHOLE day. I can play on the computer, and I will, but not for the WHOLE day. I can go to the gym, and I will, but not for the WHOLE day. I can go shopping, (I want to buy some paint for the spare bedroom) and I will, but not for the WHOLE day. I could clean my condo, and I will, but not for the WHOLE day. I can phone my son and talk to him, and I will, but not for the WHOLE day.
TODAY BELONGS TO ME and the possibilities are endless! How are you going to enjoy your day?

It is nice to have time to yourself isn't it? I think I value time to myself more than time with others. I really do. It does me good. And usually time with others can get nerve racking after a while. Just me! Today does belong to you. Hope it was a good day. Happy Mylotting!

I would enjoy my day today by doing all my assignments and reading some books so I would be ready for recitations, have good grades for quizzes and examinations. I would also enjoy my day with my family especially with my mom and my big sister, while she is doing her notes, I am having fun replying some discussion in Mylot. Even today is a free day, we still need to do our own responsibilities so we would have any problem when tomorrow comes.

hi,
once in a blue moon an opportunity like this comes. You are very very lucky for grabing this moment. Really it is enjoyable moments to spend a full day only for oursself. Phone calls pending for a long time to friends, relatives or beloved ones because of tight schedule. Or a long time wish to see favorite program on TV,listen music lying on the bed peacefully.

I have to work today! I had the weekend off and spent the days watching tv,relaxing,playing on the computer and did laundry. I did go both days to run a few errands like to pick up new cartridges for my printer and try out some ice cream place I have not before. I spend alot of time by myself because I live alone which is ok with me!

well i have 3 days off in a row, and its nice, but today i ended up sleeping almost the whole day away :( i felt so tired all evening and just could not get up
so when i finally did, i did some laundry and sat on the porch and got some fresh air, now im on mylot, and later i will work on my kitchen again and then im gonna read on my boook i started :) and then watch days and wait for hubby to get home..

I am on Iwriter and for some reason after doing so well there initially, I was being rejected by a couple of requesters which really put me off. It took me 3 months to get back there. I decided to try once again and to stop going there forever if the article I was going to write would be rejected. But I was so happy that this article has been accepted which has served as an impetus to continue. Yes. I will be writing today hoping that there will be topics that interest me!

Sounds like you pretty much enjoy your day at home alone, and you don't have to worry anything else. For me, for my day off, I would sleep until noon time, then I will get lazy on myself for the whole day. I either sitting in front of the computer, or I might watching DVD movies for the rest of the day. Then I will get to sleep again. That will be my days off for me to enjoy it. Sounds non - productive, isn't it?

If I have been given a free day, I'll make it a beauty and relax me day! I'd pamper myself to a spa, body scrub, massage, manicure, pedicure, hair treatment! Everything! Well, that is if I have the money.
If not, then I will enjoy in my own simple ways! I will grab a good book or a magazine and make myself a hot chocolate drink and I will let my soul travel to a different world through reading!

I can identify with your joy. My favorite day is the one where I am as free as a butterfly with no commitments. I actually have my home decorated in some beautiful butterflies so I can consistently attract that kind of freedom.
I love being able to go where I go and do what I do.

Well, at the moment I am enjoying my evening with a cup of Starbucks and a good read! Also, I am taking a break and checking out posts from my friends here on MyLot! This is a very postive, up beat discussion you have shared! I am so happy that you have this special day all to yourself! It's nice to have time to go shopping and hang out with friends. I miss those times but I love my life and love spending time with my little ones. I hope your day is just wonderful!
