There is a secret to being happy, to living a charmed life. You do it by causing
others to live a charmed life. You must be the source of charm, of charming
moments and experiences, in the life of another. Be everyone else's Lucky Charm!
Make everyone you meet today feel 'lucky' that you crossed their path. Do this
for a week and watch things change. Do it for a month and you'll be a different
person. Who agrees?

Hi Pose,
I dis-agree with you because it depends how you show your charm... you know famous saying (its true) that "you cannot please others"... it is same as charm - not all accepted your charm.. how about far away to you, like you know her/him by online - is it applicable your charm?

Hi Pose: I agree with you. Actually your message reminds me a beautiful pray we have in my religion that teach us that we should be a source of love, happiness and peace and with our actions be instruments of God.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
when there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
Grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand,
to be loved as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying [to ourselves] that we are born to eternal life.

I think that is a good idea if you are not married! Because people might think you are flirting with them when you try to "charm" them.

thats valuable advice dear Pose123. I found out something else which is good for being happy. I just started a Gratitude Journal. Took my favorite type of blank book for this. I note down the- mostly small things - that made me happy and I could be thankful for, even if its only ,diabetes checkup was a total success, or Was able to get out of the office early enough to catch the early trains home.
It will hopefully prevent me from thinking theres not much happening in my life and will overall make me more grateful for these good things in life.

Hi RitterSport, A gratitude journal is indeed a great idea. I don't have one at the moment but now that you have mentioned it, I should start one today. You are absolutely right about the small things making us happy. Thank goodness we don't have to wait until we win a lottery lol! Thank you for sharing my friend. Blessings.

Some people are just born miserable, or worse... raised in misery. No matter how much kindness, patience, understanding, or unconditional love you show them, they only return it with selfishness or hateful actions. It's just their nature. It would be nice if your theory worked out all the time, but truth is it doesn't.

hi Pose, I can not agree because I have not purposely paid
that much attention to who I charm during the course of the
day...But it certainly sounds like a wonderful concept..It
is as simple as that, can you imagine how much better the
world would be.

What you feel about yourself can manifest in your life. If you feel charming, you will likely to be one.

How wonderfully true. Being that I am such a knucklehead most of my life, I was charmed by my wife and she seemed to give me a charming life because of her charm.
You sound charming to come up with such a charming topic about charming others with your charm. My favorite cereal, just happens to be Lucky Charms. I was lucky to come across this charming post.

I totally agree because I've experienced this. The fact of changing people's life from good to better does really add some joy to our life. Moreover, sometimes just simple gestures can have huge effects on others, as it can influence back our own daily temperament: To help an old man to cross the road, to make a smile on an orphan's face, To give a hand to someone in need .. It is nearly true that these acts don't pay back, but believe me when I say that it gives such good feeling about ourselves; which is obvious since it goes according to the spirit of humain being.
