Dallas is back on television. I was little when it ran originally, so I don't remember it. I look forward to watching it. Please share your memories of Dallas. Will you watch it?

I'm from Texas and not that far from Dallas so I watched it most of the time. However, it has been so long that I don't remember a lot. I don't even remember much about the famous who shot J.R. episodes. I don't get TNT so I won't be able to watch this time around. From a photo I saw, it looks like they are going to have some new young cast members to go along with the old ones that are returning. I wonder how much of the story lines will be about the old characters and how much will be about the new ones assuming the new young cast members will also be new characters and how much interaction the two will have.

I think you can watch it online on TNT's website. They have Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, and Patrick Duffy back, but Victoria Principal didn't want any part of it. I think they have three former Desperate Housewives actors: Brenda Strong, Josh Henderson, and Jesse Metcalfe.

I was a huge fan of dallas back in the late 1970s. When i heard that it was coming back with Larry Hagman as J.R. ewing and Patrick duffy as bobby Ewing, i couldn't wait for the first e[isode to air. i watched it last night and it was worth every moment. The characters look even better than ever. J.R. will always be so devious and that is what make this show work.

I have too many memories of Dallas to mention here. I used to love Knot's Landing too.

Friday nights at 10pm Meant Dallas. I looked forward to Dallas like people these days look forward to Sunday football. It was a night time drama with great storylines. And the best was Who shot J.R. J.R. had made sao many enemies that Everyone was a suspect. I remember being bummed, Bummed there was a summer that year. Don't get me wrong, it felt good to be out of school but I wanted for the fall to get here so I could see who done it! Back in the day a show was on for 22 weeks and then they had a summer hiatus! It wasn't until years later that I found out that the writers didn't reveal who done it until November. That is why I call that year the longest summer of my life! It was new. A story about the super rich in Dallas. It had a Romeo- Juliet theme and it had a power struggle inside and outside the family! It was well written and even people who wouldn't see the daytime soaos watched Dallas. It inspired Dynasty and Knots Landing. But like most over the top things of the late 70's and 80's seem to be tired by the 90's , so was Dallas. It left in 1991 and now a new one is here? Why? I will not be seeing this new version. What I suggest is that you see some of the old series on Your Tube and see what I mean.

I can also understand why people don't care for that kind of show.

Oh how I can remember Dallas. It does seem like it has been a long long time since it originally aired, but this was one show I can remember always looking forward to wanting to watch each week. Especially the episodes towards the end with "Who Shot Jr." I might actually try to find this and watch it again sometime myself.

Hello Manalee. I watched Dallas some when it was on years ago. Never cared for Larry Hagman when it was playing. He came across as a selfish man wanting to get as much power and money as he could. It seemed like JR was mean to his brother Bobby and his wife Sue Ellen. I must say that since they want to bring Dallas back it is good that they are keeping the main characters and the same actors as before. I haven't decided if I'll watch it or not.

I watched it some back in the day with my Granny. She watched it all the time, but my parents didn't so I only saw it a little during the summer. I hated the season where the whole thing ended up being a dream. We aren't watching the new one.

I was very, very small when Dallas first aired, so I don't have any memories of the show at all. With that said, it was a show that both of my parents really enjoyed and watched on a weekly basis. There is a part of me that would like to watch the show now that it is being re-released, however I really don't think that I will be watching it because of the fact that I really don't watch a lot of television at all.

When I was a child, ooh, a young adult, I used to watch Dallas at a glance. It used to astonish and amuse me when I pass by people who often get emotional when they discuss the events, and behavior of the main characters of that show. Today, I still view the show at a glance. The characters are older, obviously, but the little that I have seen, it appears that the plot has been the same as before. Good for the producers, actors and their entire team. For all the persons who enjoyed the previous seasons of Dallas, they will enjoy the current series.

I saw that it got great ratings last night. I haven't seen it. I was too young to watch it back when it first aired. I wasn't alive when it first premiered. I admit I like that it is coming back because I like it when they don't necessarily remake a TV show, but add on to it. Like they tried to remake Charlie's Angels and it failed. With Dallas, they are taking existing characters and adding on. I like that. Plus, I've always liked Jordana Brewster. Let us know what you thought of it!

I was in my mid to late teens when it first came on and I watched it faithfully every week and was so wrapped up in who shot JR but these days, I'm not interested. It's too much drama and I have enough drama in my life that I don't need to add anymore. It was a good show while it lasted but I've had my fill.

I might check out the first episode just to see how it looks. It's got some oldies but goodies Character on it from the Original Show. I think it's definitely gonna be on for a while not like some shows that are cancelled after a few episodes.

I watched the Original Dallas when it was on. I lost interest in it the last few years of the show and didn't care to watch anymore. I don't plan to watch the new Dallas TV show. I just am not inerested in watching it.

I read somewhere that JR had went 'green' and was no longer the BIG OIL bad boy. Nope, don't think it will be the same.
