Caring for the Elderly ......parents

I feel caring for the elderly is often emotionally difficult for the caregiver. It requires that forgiveness be freely given and old hearts be dealt with. The caregiver may be a son or daughter must be the one who is able to "get over" emotional hurdles and move on with providing quality care for the aging parent. Main aspects that are to be monitored…like
• Provide a home
• Offer legal help and support
• Help with financial responsibilities
• Arrange resident nursing care
• Deal with mental health and medical issues related to aging such as dementia,
Alzheimer's, etc.
• Meet their socialization needs
• Help the elderly make decisions, including those about dying, i.e. living
wills, durable powers of attorney, etc.
Let God be all in all. He can get you through anything, no matter how hard the task is. Just call out to him be sincere to our life.

I understand ur feeling.so for others who r going through this same situation.thumps up to u and all others who do care and r taking care of their eldres.One shld always remember,that we r all in line.every one of us has to go through this stage.our elders are like children.its time that we should hold their hand till the last like they holded on to us when we needed them.thats what they need most now.god will help us in our life and all our problems and one day we may enter paradise due to the blessings of our elders.thats what we need most today dont we?

If a person has a passion, he or she can do everything. Even dealing those people who have mental issues, but if a person does not have any passion at all, he or she easily gives up.

caring for the elderly do require a high level of patience. They sometimes act like children, need a lot of attention. But, that's where we tested. The more we can put up and serve them, more easier to us will go to heaven later
