Two days recently I get right shoulder ache. I really don't want to type on the computer more because whenever i type, my right shoulder is tired and pain...I want to lie down for a while but i am in the office now... I still use the same chair, table, and PC ...i really don't know why...
I am thinking...some days before i didn't type much because mylot was not connected and now i am typing on it to reply all comments and post my discussions, is it a reason?
However i wanna try to post some more discussions and then stop...because tomorrow i can't connect to mylot when i am in my hometown...

I have the same problem and it is definitely computer related. it is probably worse since I type with one finger on each hand. The repeated movements are not good for the shoulders. I live with the pain since I like to write on the computer and am constantly at it.
They say that doing some exercises helps. I share your pain.

It is unfortunate that sometimes we have no choice but to endure the pain.

Thank you so much...
Right, it is totally related to working with a computer. I will try to do exercise and take a break when working with a computer. In fact i really don't want to sit in front of a computer every day, but it is my work..then i have no choice now...

Sorry to hear that, hope that your pain will go away. I think is about your posture while using and typing on your computer because if you have a bad posture while working in the computer you will feel ache in your shoulder or in the back. I think you strained your muscles in your shoulder while typing. YOu should stretch your shoulder a little bit in order to relax those strained muscles

Consult with an orthopaedic surgeon to see whether you are a victim of frozen shoulder. If you are really a victim of frozen shoulder, please remember that it has no satisfactory treatment and it is a self-limiting disease. What you need is regular physiotherapy, please always try to avoid analgesics to get rid of the pain.

Am sorry to hear that you are having all these the pains, ryanong. How painful for you. I feel your pain.
Why not stop the computer use for awhile? Take breaks during the day and go for a walk. Mrs. Turner and I take at least one walk every day, even if we don't feel like it. Invariably, we feel better after getting this exercise.

I like to sit by the computer too much too and have to move now and then and stretch my shoulders and back - that helps a lot.
Also eating basic food like greens and fruit can make our body more basic and stop many aces and pains.
Meat has the opposite effect and if you are sensitive, it can be good to know that many meat products can have harmful additives that can cause pain.
Have a nice day..

I have a stable chair with a backrest, and it allows me to bend bacwards with the arms stretched. That is a great stretching movement, and I also move around and do other things in between.
Maybe you find some good mini excercise you can do too.
All the best..

perhaps the same chair, table, and PC ... are the causes. when you hold a particular position or posture for a long period of time, you may feel pain in your lumbar, shoulder or neck. you may do some exercises or some other things to avoid the pain.

I am sorry to hear that bunnybon. you can change your position when you type a lot in a computer, you can try to make your back straight when typing and standing. I think your back and your shoulder will be back as previous time.
Currently i get pain whenever take a seat in front of a computer for long time...I try to take break and go around every one hour now..when my shoulder is pain, i stop sitting in front of a computer immediately...

Ya, you are right, we should not ignore our pain...my shoulder is ok right now when i didnt work in front of a computer for few days, but i think i should change a chair..because the current chair is fixed and my posture is poor, so that it makes my body is easily tired...

Pains are very normal when you do a job or a task for a long time. So I always used to take breaks from the job or tasks, if i need to spent a long time for it. I think taking such breaks will help you to get away from your pains.

Do not type constantly, take a little break i between. So that the pain will be reduced to certain extent. Go to a doctor and take his advice and act accordingly. Why don't you try Yoga to get relief. It is a well known and a famous type of exercise now a days, and by practice you will find it easy to perform.
