Hello Lotters,
Mylot has been consistent aren't they? it's been months but i noticed the numbers didn't change that much i think it got stuck to the same number of users. of course, not every is active, I bet the admins been doing a lot of cleaning up to do here that's why they got this error thing.
Some were upset because of the misinformation about mylot being spread by other users that cause the explosion of users coming over. but was it too much for this site? i think it's every one.
Maybe if they stop allowing registration of users, it might do us a favor away from trolls but mylot is for every one, and they tend to keep it that way

Hello LetranKnight25
I seriously doubt that the 200K number of registered users is active.
What misinformation are you talking about? I am not aware of this controversy.
I was on this site some years ago, and there seemed to be many more active users here, then. Things seem rather slow around here now.

Hello Pageturner, yeah you're so right about that, most of them are either inactive or just plain gone. I've heard that it was more active in the past, when i was new here back in 08 i saw a lot of very very insightful discussions. at the same time, i saw some discussions that are very provocative and very much open for hatefu debates. for me, those were the dark ages, it's pretty much simplier now.

Yes, I was here in 2008 and I can see what you're saying. Things seem a bit lighter now, even more innocent in some ways. I am wondering if this is because there seem to be users from the USA. It seems that so many of the USA members are grouchy and mean spirited and often go around saying nasty things.
However, there seemed to be more silly / creative discussions back in 2008 than there are now, as well.

"seem to be LESS users from the USA. And they seem friendlier/kinder."

Hey
I am pretty new to this site, but so far I am liking it!
I am a USA user. I have been trying to get people I know to start using
it, but they are very weary of a scam. I still trying to convert. I think
this is great. I love hearing others thought and giving opinions. :)

Hello Grapeape35, Well, Mylot was predominantly for US users since the site is located in the east coast on the office. we need more people like you, i don't really like the idea of US lotters drying out of this place. there are still a few people in this site, how ever, some of them just chose to be less active here. hope you will do differently. have a nice day

i too have not noticed how the population here is going through and it's not a doubt but i believe that number is not the actual number of active members. active members i guess could only be less than half of the total population.

dear LK,
I am not aware how many mylot members are active here, but maybe 200 or more.
We have different time zones and it's really hard to determine how many active members are here.
Most of the time I am active during night time and I can see mylot members who are not coming in our usual time (Phil time)- so, it means, there are many active members here it just happen that not everyone are active at a time.
- good to see you active once again

Hello Jai-sis, You're right we have different time zones and availability of the users. to be honest i am not sure if any of these people would ever come back and then be active active. i think there's error there because some users exist on other locations, which i think is another error

200k members but I doubt all of it are active. My referrals alone are all nowhere to be found.. Anyway, I agree. Some people who wish to earn might be afraid to come to mylot because they heard something bad about this site. if only we could tell them that all they have heard are not true and are only hearing it from people who wish to put mylot down. It only they will try to be here, i'm sure they will enjoy. Also, I am afraid that the system always going under maintenance and takes too long to post responses might cause fear and doubts from the new ones. I've seen many new members these past few days and I hope they won't be affected and be more patient with what's happening to our friend here.

Mylot actually need more members but quality is better than quantity, out of that 200000 only few thousands are active. I am sure we will have diversity of discussions and topic starters will get more more responses and the responses will have sub-discussions on their own. i think the guidelines should have a form in video so people will understand it more.
