Good day to all.
How often do your clean your table at work or in the office?
I used to clean my table at the office during Monday.It is the first thing I do when I arrived at work.Sorting the papers, removing and wiping dust including keyboard and monitor, cleaning dirt in my table.
Thank God it is Friday again and I don't have works to be done and I hope nothing will come till the day end, so I had a chance to clean some stuff in my table.I am sorting papers for file as of the moment to reduce the amount of papers in my table which is usually seen in my table lol.I plan to wipe it too and try to make my table more organized.I do hope no such interruption occur to finish it all immediately.

I usually clean my table once or twice a month. But now that we are goign to implement the 5S of good housekeeping in our work, we are really need to our workplace regularly. As one of the 5S, "sustain" is really important. This means that we need to keep 5S implemented in our area. Another way to remind us about keeping clean is the phrase "CAYGO" or Clean As You GO. In our office, we don't have our own cubicle because we have 3 shifts and don't have that much pc's in the office. Who would use your pc if you are not working 12 hours a day right? So we do share our pc's to the next shift people. I clean the cubicle I'm using before and after use so the next person will not complain of it being dirty.

I am the type of person who has to have a tidy space to be able to work in, so I never let my desk get cluttered at all. If I am reading letters, then I will file them as soon as they're read, so they never pile up on my desk or anything like that. If I make myself a drink, I will always make sure that I take my mug away before I have another drink, as I have a friend who always keeps about 6 mugs on her desk and I just don't know how she can put up with a desk like that, as there is no way that I would be able to do it.

i seldom clean my entire desk, but only those portions of my working space. actually, for working over 7 years in my current job, i rarely clean my table (lol). but since i bought this something-that-looks-cool computer desktop cleaner set, i started to dust off my desk, from my CPU on the ground, going up to my desk where my keyboard and mouse are, and will end rubbing a special cloth to my LED monitor. i do this EVERY MORNING as i arrive, except of course on Sundays :D

I mostly have a diary and a telephone on my table. Repairing the appliances like TV, fridge is my work. So I will not be there at the office in most of the times. I will be out in most of the days to repair them. In my office I don’t find much dirt on my tables and if I find them I just put them in basket. I don’t have any specific time or specific day for cleaning it.

We had this policy in our workplace. It's called "clean as you go". We need to clean our workplace before we go home. Also, come this July, we will be implementing the 5S policy. AS early as now, we are trying to sort out our things here. We had also this quote: Your job is not complete until your work area is clean.

I always keep my table clean before I go home. We have "clean as you go" policy in the office. And also, we have a cleaning schedule. We clean our office every Friday.

I cannot work when I have clutter on my desk, so I always try to have my paperwork and other things on my desk organized at all times. But I only wipe the dust and clean my office once a week. I usually do it first thing Monday morning before I do any work.

I will clean the table once I got nervous and tense. There are lots of paper works on my table, there were service reports, repair service invoices from our partners. There always problems on whose responsibility it shall be, therefore the answer is always the responsibility belongs to somebody else. Our company is not liable to pay anything. And the service companies will claim we need to pay them first. SO the bills were always there, I need to remember all the stories from begining to end.The debtor called me again and again. I got so tired and stressed. So sometime I just clean the office table three times a day. But I can not clear the mountain of paper works on my table so far.

Hi Ardoy
I clean my desk clean everynight before I leave work, even if I am not done with it.
I have a drawer I set things in that are not quite done. So that I know what needs to be done first thing the next morning.
Cleaning off my desk every day makes my morning not so stressed.
When I come into to a clean desk, I feel more relaxed and ready to start the day.

Well in my case I clean my office table every time I arrived at my office and that is everyday from Monday to Friday before 8:00am that is why I have to be early so that I have the time cleaning my table before my client arrive at my office.
