In the Bible, God states that he is the beggining and the end. If this is correct, at what time frame did Satan fall as an angel?
I know many Christians refer to Lucifer (king of Babylon) as the angel that fell, but is this correct?
Scripture quotes welcome, from all faiths and texts.

Do you think that peoples opinions on this are not worth 2 cents? Is that what you are saying?
God may not be real to you, you may not have found a truth or proof that opens your eyes, but how does that stiffle the effect of my qiestions just because you have found no proof for your self?
Truth is hidden and you have to earn your way into the fact finding groups if you want to know anything, otherwise, you become like the mass population waiting for proof and it doesn't come until its too late. I am not putting you down, just putting the question you pose into perspective.

Hello my friend PoppaDave Ji,
I feel 'FAITH' has no place for 'PROOFS AND EVIDENCES' . Faith i sjust blind. I will not do any research work on Bible. I have to believe as it comes. There are certain thing remain un-explained. Similarly , let this also be there.
May God bless You and have a great

Hello my friend PoppaDave Ji,
Well, for continuing our string in healthy manner, I am to say that certain things/matters are un-explainable, e.g. right now your Log-In name here, or your own name given by your parents, or your birth place Or my would be last breathing places and so endless examples. If everything could be explained then hidden secrets of our creator would be out , which probably our creator wants to keep himself, like VETO power or may be that patrenthood provides lot many rightys and duties. Though I agree that on eshould find out everything, what could make life peaceful, but I never run like this, may be my weakness or fear of loosing when defied by arguments.
May God bless You and have a great

Some followers feel as you do, but some people like myself, we are currious as to how satan fooled the world.
The bible is full of proofs and evidences, and if you read the bible at all or any religious text, there is no faith without the return to God through study and prostration. I guess I am just interested in solving some questions I have. I am the type that needs proof. O KNOW GOD LIVES and he has shown me the proof. I need it for re-assurance...because Satan changes things so rapisly.
Forgiveness is something you learn after discovery...I would have t disagree somewhat on this one, but from my angle only, not that it is not a wize thing to blindly follow what ever you choose.
I do recall an old daying...wolves in sheeps clothing,so, blind faith could lead one to prison, just ask one of Mansons followers or manson himself, they had faith in satan.
I hacve faith in a creator who is king, forever like always. None else. This is something I learned and from making mistakes. Lessons in life are proof enough at times, not that we should not seek the truth. Truth itself is a proven thing when faith is true. Faith in itself is not blind though...it is guided by the heart.

In what time frame? On earth, or in heaven? On earth, it must have been a very long time ago. I don't know why it wouldn't be correct to say that satan is the fallen angel spoken of in Isaiah, unless it's because of the different concepts of who/what satan is. I hope you get a lot of good responses because now I'm curious!

I get a feeling (not completely sure yet)that Satan was an appointed angel who was a watcher over all the other angels. When God was creating a concept of man, he was Jealous that man was made of clay and he was made of fire. He then stood up one day and told God to (expletive words and nasty)as he failed to or refused to prostrate before God. This prostration was the surrendering of ego.
AT that moment, someone else stood up and body slammed him (satan)for talking to God in the tone and language that he used (maybe God himself).
At this point, he (satan)was cast from heaven(by the chosen, or right hand of God) because of the instant oposition he created when arguing at God. and then , this great disruption became what scientist believe is the big bang.
Angels then fell from heaven, many trying to get to the battle that ensued between Satan and the Chosen whom God had made of clay.Yes, an elect angel like man(the first Adam) or at the Angel that oppsed his action, one of the two probably. The angels tried to end the battle and satan would not relent. It all was about Satans refusal as well to prostrate to the lord, but mostly jealousy(part of his ego).
these two went into time as we know it, because all the angels then were sent to earth to be humans, even Satan himself was a man.
When we got here, Satan became a scientist/tyrant/murderer/slave master etc and had many minions. But Satan still had a sckepter, which was the vacume of his fall, which, if thought about for a while, explains how he is the prince of light (he cause the angels to fall) thus he had a power. He then declared war on God
As time played out, God asked for a man to do it, change time. Read carefully in the bible and you will see many references to Satan as a time traveler, going to and fro in the earth. This suggests he runs governments and mind control operations.
In my Honest Opinion, we live in the day and age when this Satan is going to be captured and punished by God and all of the original spirits/angels will return to God for Judgemnet.
Now, each of us is a shard in my opinion....and all the pieces fit.
Only Satan will be removed from the element of fire, and his construction/existence will be abandoned. He will be erased from time and humans will be rescued by a mighty messiah who was that chosen one that pummeled satan with a football style tackle...
Aliens, bigfoots, all those other things, are just angles of what the big picture is, and it is bigger picture than all of us can imagine, We are human and we have to remember...that we are one level above Satan. Satan someday will not exist. If we do not return to God in which ever path he laid out for us, we too may cease to exist!

Well dear I think this will answer your question. This is directly lifted from this link : http://www.gotquestions.org/Lucifer-Satan.html
"Is Lucifer Satan? Does the fall of Lucifer describe Satan?"
Answer: There is no verse or passage in the Bible that says, “Lucifer is Satan,” but an examination of several passages reveals that Lucifer can be none other than Satan. The fall of Lucifer described in Isaiah 14:12 is likely the same that Jesus referred to in Luke 10:18: "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” A similar fall is depicted in Ezekiel 28.
Isaiah 14:12-18 describes the fall from heaven of one called “Lucifer” in the King James Version and the “morning star, son of the dawn” in the NIV. Other Bible versions call him “Day Star,” “shining star,” and “the bright morning star.” These variations are due to differences of opinion about how to translate the Hebrew word helel. Regardless, the description of the one referred to shows us it can be none other than Satan. We know from Jesus’ own words in Luke 10 that Satan fell from heaven. So, when Isaiah refers to Lucifer or helel being cast down to earth (Isaiah 14:12), it can be none other than Satan. The reason for his fall is found in verses 13 and 14: “You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’” This has always been Satan’s desire – to be God, and it is the very temptation he used in the Garden of Eden to get Eve to disobey God: “You shall be as God” (Genesis 3:5).
Ezekiel 28 is another passage thought to refer to Lucifer/Satan. Although it begins with Ezekiel being commanded by God to “take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre” (v. 12), an evil idolatrous king, it soon becomes clear that the passage is referring as well to the power behind that king—Satan. Verse 13 says he was “in Eden, the garden of God.” Clearly, the king of Tyre was never in Eden. Verse 14 says, “You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you.” Apparently, Lucifer/Satan had a position of guardian angel in heaven “among the fiery stones,” thought to be the shining precious jewels that are seen in other descriptions of heaven (Exodus 24:10; Revelation 21:18-21). Since the king of Tyre was never in heaven, either, this can only be describing Lucifer. The rest of the passage describes the reason he was cast out of heaven. Because of his beauty, his heart became proud and his wisdom was corrupted (v. 17). Pride in his perfection, wisdom and beauty (v. 12) became the source of his downfall, and God threw him to the earth (v. 17). This was witnessed by the Lord Jesus in heaven before His incarnation (Luke 10:18).
To summarize, the Hebrew word helel is translated "Lucifer." He was cast out of heaven for his sin of pride and his desire to be God. Jesus referred to seeing Satan being cast out of heaven. Therefore, we can conclude that Lucifer and Satan are one and the same.

I really apreciate the length and accuracy from all selections you provided. I tend to think that Satan is evil period. I think All evil men ar Satan as well(entered by him or programed by him, you catch my drift?). I actuallity, I think all humans have experienced him within themselves before. It is fate in my book and the mandatory Destiny of hope that filters the dark one from my life. I am glad to hear so many testimonies in such a level headed forum speak. I love Mylot and the responses I get here.

Hi PoppaDave, I don't really get the first question, but maybe I can reason the second question =)
The name Lucifer occurs once in the Scriptures and only in some version of the Bible. I heard this name in some movies, but never seen this name in any version of bible/language that I have (I don't have King James Version). The Hebrew word translated 'Lucifer' means 'shining one'.
The description 'shining one' is given to a man, but not to a spirit creature. This can be seen in Isaiah 14:15,16 - Down to Sheol you will be brought.
Sheol is the common grave of mankind, not some place where Satan or devil lives. Moreover, in the next sentence, those seeing Lucifer were ask : "Is this the MAN that was agitating the earth?" So, clearly we can see Lucifer refers to a human.
Now, you may wonder why the king of Babylon was given such an eminent description. Reading the earlier verse (Isaiah 14:3), you may realise that the king of Babylon was to be called the shining one only after his fall. Selfish pride prompted Babylon's kings to elevate themselves above others.
Isaiah 14:13,14 portrayed as bragging "To the heavens I shall go up. Above the stars of God I shall lift up my throne.."
'Stars of God' are the kings of the royal line of David (Numbers 24:17). Nebuchadnezzar is declaring his attention to put himself above those 'stars'. Instead of giving God credit for the victory over them, he arrogantly put himself in God's place.
Thus after the fall, Babylonian dynasty is mockingly referred to as the 'shining one'. However, the pride of the Babylonian rulers indeed reflected the attitude of Satan(wanna place himself above God).
So, Lucifer isn't a name spiritually given to Satan(or any angel).
Sorry for the long post and happy mylotting =)

Excellent reply. Lecifer was mentioned once in the christian bible and to the king of Babylon. I have a theory on this.
David Icke(God Bless his soul, RIP)wrote an excellent article on the mystery gold that echelons used in the day. I believe it was something that made the body ILLIMINATE. Following on this, I discover that mono-atomic gold may play a role in the mystery of mankind.
The Golden Spiral is something I think, reflects this mans fall. I am convinced myself, that Satan takes the form of man and is a man in our day and age.
If I am Satn, then let me publicly declare this:
God Lives, I am not God, I kiss the earth to bow down to him and I surrender.
I think David(Poppa Dave)is fine and I thiank good people like yourself for helping me with the questions I seek.
PS. I am writing a book and seek outside opinion on my task.
my book: Rabbit in the Hole - Trapping the Zodiac (A quest for truth). Wait until you see what I have done, and what I am about to do. God Lives, Blessing to his Name(I am that I am)

Thanks Carnival, you have hit exactly on one of the quotes I was seeking.
I have a concordiance Bible for my King James books from when I was a Christian, but I didn't want to use it, I felt MyLot is full of smart people willing to discuss this. My Jewish faith is molded from my own choosing and I tend to lean way to that dirrection and the text from Isaiah, only many texts are tricky with interpretation if you were once a christina and now a Jew, because they don;t quite have the same meaning at times. I am trying to define what I believe Satan is. (I feel he is a live human looking being in our dy and age, alive and at the end of his deceptive days). I appreiate your 2 cents worth. Thank you!

Genesis 3:1 refers figuratively to an angel, the most cautious, that questioned and fell away from the teachings, then later in Genesis 3:14 God told that angel what the result of this kind of action would be, which is later presented in the bible as a vision in Revelation 12:9
As for the times and seasons of some events only God knows. We can however look at human history to determine actual events that have happened like the coming of Christ. The bible says we will see this more than once in time but in another way.
Now, we know not everyone will believe exactly the same things, even with scriptural quotes. So we must search out the truth for ourselves, God willing.

I see though in Genesis 3:13 that Satan is refered by Eve as the serpent.
I tend to associate serpent with snake or alien with scales like in the black lagoon...haha.
Thanks Blye Doll, you are so true that many people believe differently. You help has aided me alot, Thanks.
