Do you find mylot Topics Repetitive??

Yes, there are always the same topics cropping up and it gets a bit tedious after a while, however, I must admit that I too am guilty of starting disscussions of simular topics that others have already started. I try to start original topics quite often when I can but nobody ever comments on them, only ever on the repeated topics. I think this is because most people have a guide response to the same topics and so thinking of something new to say is easier and therefore more replies in a shorter time to increase pay.

Yes I'm thinking the same way as you.I saw many times two almost identical discussions and it annoys me a little that sometimes the topics are not varied enough but this differs from day to day. I don't know why this is happening,maybe some people are just simply lazy to search if there's already a discussion with the same topic. Everyone should look up for this before creating a new discussion.

In my long stay here, (well not longer than the elite members) I can say I have come across many repetitive discussions. Some of it just gets deleted for already existing topics and some remain for they have different points and the way they deliver the topic is different from the previous ones. Although I can say, it's sometimes not healthy to respond to it again and again, but for sure you will not be able to respond to it the same way you respond to the previous discussion before it. I'm saying, we do have different ideas and different words used to start a discussion. Even if it has the same subject or body, more or less, same thought, but the words and the way the started expresses it is different, therefore, we too as responders have different responses or comments. It's all up to us on how we deliver and express our thoughts on that same discussion.

I have seen repetitive topics, too. But I think that most peope do not have the patience to read all the related topics, and comments, and they prefer to ask some questions in order to receive a more personal answer. I do that, too. But I don't mind answering to similar topics.

Let repeatition of topics apply as the responses and comments are not repeatitive.

some of the topics are really the same, but most of them have different approach or issues but quite in the same nature. These really affect my interest to participate in those discussion, because i don't want to repeat myself again and again. By that time, i just prefer to look for another discussions to participate with.

sometimes it is repetitive, but well i think that is due to the fact that people post topics and even if they are talking about the same thing, they can only always have a different subject and can be treated differently by the mylot's system. =)

It is but natural that two or more people think of a particular topic for discussion in the same vein. However the outlook on the relevant topic and its presentations differ much in content too.

hi sayo13 oh the cyle again first its how awful most of our discussions are like its bash mylot and mylotters now its the blasted repetitions. well its always had some and always will as long as some people are only here for just the money. they make few friends, they find fault with all things mylot and , of course they leave in a few months time. I have been here five years and the cycles never really change. Yet I and a lot of my older friends here all manage to find discussions we are interested in and we keep'on mylotting. we have discovered that there's a lot more to mylot than just making some money.friendships from around the world. sharing and caring, helping, learning and teaching, sharing our selves with others these are so much more wonderful than just the earnings.I am happy with mylot the way it is and so are a lot of other people here. one topic can actually have many sides to it so that is not repition at all. My interest in mylot stems from more than just discussions, it comes from the total package and all the great friends I an elderly woman have made.so bash away if you must,it will not alter my view of mylot at all.

Most member ignores the function of the search tab above. Some just start out a new discussion immediately when they think of a certain topic. But i don't blame them for being too excited posting on new threads though. I guess its just natural for some, especiallyfor those who did not bother to read the rules.

In my opinion there is only so much that can be talked about in life. A lot of people go through the same exact type of things... Complaint of a landlord/slumlord-- A TON of people have one of those Money problems--MOST people now have that Relationship Advice--People need that sometimes You see, most of what people talk about OTHERS are going through too or have been there at one time or another. There is only so much to go through in life and most people have been through what someone else has been through. There is nothing wrong with posts that resemble each other. There are a LOT of people here, and yes they go through the same things... I love MyLot the way it is and the only way there would not be duplicate things is for everyone to just stop posting because you have not been through something that no one else in the world has been through. There is someone out there that has been through the same thing... I don't want the posts to stop completely so keep repeating!

Hello friend...good day .That thing is not like so many people and feels boring but its a real in the life.In the world that the so many topic which can explain from different people.Persons have like have talk only some topic which reason the people would want talk a same topic and get more information......

Well, tell me about it. You've been in mylot for many months and notice such repetitive topics, what more to say me who's been here just a few weeks. I found repititive and also probably useless topics for discussion. It makes you wonder those with 1000 or 2000 (number at the side of their names), are they some of those who repeats a topic but in a different way? Are they posting valuable topics that is interesting and really brought quality replies. Of course we don't want topics that is too hard for someone simple to reply such as "x+y=10-3x". Haha. It is understandable if the person who post these topics are newbies who doesn't bother to do some research if such topic exist already. What if it's done by someone who's been here for ages? It does seems like mylot has become a spamming site, where members spam discussion just for the sake of it. Who knows what will happen to mylot one day. But i do appreciate people who gives out quality topic such as yourself, the question that you post now could bring me to think about the posibility of speaking my mind and i thank you for that.
