Chasing a mammoth first innings score of 472 from Sri Lanka, Pakistan was bowled out for 100 runs. Suraj Randiv took 4 wickets while Rangana Herath chipped in with 3 wickets. The carnage though was started by Kulasekara who took 2 wickets of 2 balls to start the ball rolling for Sri Lanka.
Now the match seems to be in Sri Lanka's grasp.
Cheers!
Ram

This is one of the worst performance of pakistan, they just have to be blamed themselves for this worst batting performance, any way we have to give credit to sirlanka also for bowling out the pakis for this score

By the end of day 3 Srilanka were 123/5 in there 2nd innings with the lead of 495.
It does seem with Pakistan bowled out for 100 in the 1st innings it will be tough for them to chase down a total of 500 or more.
This match is in a good position for Srilanka to win ..

I think Pakistan team does not have good and consistent batsman right now. I think they should try go get some good batsman to the team especially young players. I think Srilanka cricket has a very good team and I hope they also get some young good batsman to the team.

Hey my friend,
You are right. Inconsistancy in the batting is the one of the major problem faced by pakistan. I think they need a change in the batting line up but there arise a question whom should be loaded and whom should be unloaded. I hope pak selectors will find a good answer for it. This change may help them to have a tight game with other teams.

A lead of 372 in the first innings for SriLanka. They didnt enforce the follow-on, however. The spinners have been extremely useful, taking 9 out of 10 in Sri Lanka's innings and 7 out of 10 in Pakistan's. Pakistan will have to bat well to save this test match.

Pakistan batting side doesnot showed any kind of quality in their approach chasing a huge total all batsmen played shots as if they forgot that this was a test match and most batsmen didnt showed any patience to occupy the crease even though they lost many wickets at the start itself. They need to change their approach in order to bring their performance back.

Yeah Pakistani cricket team is not playing very good
i am a very big Fan of Pakistani Cricket team but they are not playing very good
there are few reasons behind that. No1 they dont have good middle order batsman,
when Younis khan and Yousaf left the teams they had non other than Misbah. but not Younis khan is back and giving some strength to the middle order.
lets see what happens in 2nd test match starting from tomorrow morning.
but Srilanka got lucky because some of the umpire decisions favored them too

Srilanka had a great dominance in the game. They had put up a great score on their cards. Sangakara was the one who had a major role to get such a good score. In that innings srilankan bowlers put a great effort in the game. They had showed the power and caliber of bowling with the bowlers like randiv, hearath and kulasekara. I hope their good efforts can help them to get an easy win.

Yeah it was disappointing to see Pakistan loosing wickets in such a quick fashion. I hope we get to see some exciting finish at the end of this match.
