thunder - caused of mylot's blunder

Hello Lotters, Well, first off, am glad that mylot has come back to normal. I knew it they were some sort of trouble and never the site itself. thanks to the mylot alert anyways. [u][b] Well, those of us at myLot had a rough start to the weekend. Our servers are hosted with Amazon EC2, and a huge thunderstorm on the East Coast of the USA knocked out power everywhere, including one of our EC2 datacenters. As a result a huge number of websites around the internet faced outages, myLot included. We were finally able to restore service to myLot around 6pm CDT on Saturday. We know that myLot is a vital part of the lives of many of our users, and we definitely apologize for the down time! We"think" things are fine now, but if you see any more hiccups this weekend, please know that we'll be hard at work rectifying any issues. Anyway to make up for lost time, let's have some fun. Sunday and Monday are both going to be QUADRUPLE Earnings Days on myLot! This means your normal payout will be four times higher than normal for these two days. Check back late on Monday and Tuesday morning (CDT) to see the QUADRUPLE Earnings. We're sure you have lots to discuss. Of course, please adhere to the myLot Community Guidelines as usual. Happy myLotting!myLot Staff[/b][/u] when they informed about this kind of trouble they got themselves into regarding that stupid thunder knocking their P-supply out, i knew the site was fine. i didn't wanna bother myself worrying. Plus, they put the MYLOT MAINTENACE logo BACK but what really made me happy was the increase of percentage of getting a huge load of rewards (earnings) to compensate for the lost time. I LIKE. Hope no one blames THOR for the lighting

Lol, Thor's got to be controlled! I am so happy myself reading about the increase in the earnings. I know I am a bit busy these days but I have to at least be here for a few hours to make up for the lost days. I am having a hard time posting my responses though, I think many members are online now and the site can't handle all the responses coming in or it might have been the hiccups. But, anyway, still trying to response as much as possible.

Hello Gaiza12, I have been busy with the other site since this place had been some trouble. besides, i don't want to have the trauma anymore of not earning it once a day. another thing is that thor must have been too much practising his freaking hammer. right now, i think am going back to my responses that has no comment yet. have a nice day

Hello BhabyCatch, I am not so sure but i think my brain is tinier than yours hahaha! but to be honest i haven't been making good topics these days. Another thing is that am not fast enough to think anymore the way i used to. i hope mylot gets fast hours after a couple of post from me here, besides, they said it was a power outage but not entirely on the site except upgrades

Hi Letran, I don't know when the glitches started, but 4:33 PM here is when we lost our power due to this storm. It did't come back on until 1 AM and a friend further north didn't have hers back on until the following morning and still many are without power. So I didn't even know about it, because since I obviously was not on Friday night, and Saturday I was very busy. Went to my niece's graduation party followed by going to my neighbor's for food, swimming, boating, and our communities annual fireworks display. It wasn't until this morning I seriously tried to sign in and I couldn't. So I spent the day clearing out part of my lot for a new flower bed and I just became active this evening. In a way, other than today, I never would have known mylot had a problem, but I am thrilled with the bonus we are getting..

Hi LK, I am so happy that Mylot is up and running again! And I am so static about the earnings that we will be receiving! that is, if we will be super active plus the quadruple earnings! yey! I am checking the time and I think it hasn't started yet. It says Sunday and Monday (US time) so its 15 minutes away from now right? Happy Lotting ever!

Hello danitykane, well the quadruple i think starts today this afternoon in our time so we have the good chance of being active too much because of the promo. a lot better than the double earnings years back. it's actually three hours after the day of that promotion. Monday would definitely be sunday in the United States and Tuesday would be monday there

Hi Letran Knight: I honestly don't feel afraid about the site. Of course at some point I felt frustrated because I couldn't log in on the site but I knew there must be something and happening and that sooner or later it would be fixed. I am happy everything is working right now and that we have this special earning bonus. ALVARO

I am so excited they are back and I am happy about the extra earnings because it really hurt many of us at the end of the month for this to happen when were all trying to make payout! But I am glad they are making up for it so it is all good. =)

I just came online...a bit late and responded to bhaby's topic and then this , your topic. I have trouble with posting, the page too slow..so I guess, I can't make a big earning with this kind of connection...good news but a little bad too :xx

Hello LK, I did not know that Mylot is not working properly since few days as i am not that much active here these days till one of the mylotter told me that they have made an announcement to give us quadruple earnings for 2 days then only i came to know about it.But today also am observing it be slower than normal hope they fix it soon as i know many of devote much time here and for them Mylot means a lot.
