I actually did not observe this but i guess my husband is right lol..aside from watching too much CSI, Natgeo and Discovery i tend to switch channels where reality shows are.. like Roco's Dinner Party.. or when there is a new Survivor episode i would watch it too.. or i watch so you think you can dance. For some reason i like watching those than telenovelas
i know somehow some people here are like me.. i hope.

We're completely the opposite. My husband told me I spend too much time on the net! LOL! ^__^ He was actually amazed with me whenever I gape on each commercial during the time that he watches the news yesterday. ^__^
Well, I do watch tv with my son, but it's mainly cartoon network so there's no local commercial at all. My husband is actually just making fun of me, since he told me that i looked like I haven't seen the television for almost 10 years.

That's 100% assured Jazel. ^__^ I only stop whenever i'm cooking, doing house chores, playing with my son or helping him with his homework, but aside from that, it's always me and my laptop.

I believe you are right. Reality TV shows are just much more interesting than most of the shows today but I have been out of this for some time now. I do download and watch TV series now but I have to say that I miss reality TV shows, especially some of my favorites like the Amazing race, X factor, etc. I noticed that many reality TV shows are franchised and produced locally now so I think some of them are interesting, and maybe it would be a good idea to try out for one of them.

i was hooked to Amazing race season 6! Lol i do not like missing one of those episodes and it got me even thinking of joining as well but i really do not think i am fit for that! hahahah! Plus one requires to know how to swim in order to join the game, i really searched for the application and saw the requirements..

i like watching tv shows, but i am not much into reality shows, i occasionally watch x factor, american idol but i do not really wait for them just to be able to watch an episode. i am more of a tv series person and i like watching fictional series, csi included, lie to me, game of thrones and others.. these tv series does take a lot of my time if you ask me. :D

I've actually cut down on my tv viewing. When I do watch, it's a news program or something on pbs. I find a book much more interesting. I read a lot....2-3 books a week. I did take time out to watch a detective story on pbs tonight. When something comes on pbs that I want to see, I turn off the computer and put down the book. Those programs take your full attention.
And the reality shows? Not a chance that I'd waste my time on a one of them.

I love watching those back when I'm still in the city we have cables and I like knowledge channels as well. But since I been here in my town I have only two choices of local channels that's why I am more hooked to their soaps rather making chats with neighbors.

i think reality TV shows are nice to watch because it shows and depicts people's true emotions; it i snot fake. and i do not see any mistake of watching too much of them except if your chores are being disturbed.
