Hello LMfisher, you are correct,i like tea very much.I prefer warm to cold tea.I don't enjoy cold tea that much.I don't know whether it warms our soul or not.It gives us a lot of energy. Its good for health. It rejuvenates our brain.
But I like coffee more...and cold coffee is the best.

welcome to mylot. I agree with you partially. Tea warms up us when we take. But I like hot tea with milk. a few take cold tea . even that stimulates our intersts.

I've just recently started drinking "hot" teas and I love them. They are delicious and they are also great for different health problems as well. I do enjoy my iced tea, but hot tea is great as well. I drink a cup of tea every morning. As for it "warming the soul" I think it does.

Tea is very good hot. And there are so many options. As far as iced tea goes, I think the kind you make yourself is way better then any you can buy already made. Meaning, you make lots of hot tea and cool it down. Also, sun tea is the best.

Hello Lmfisher666
I am not a fan of tea, whether hot or cold.
I grew up in a tradition that practically worships iced tea, and until I was 18 years old was served iced tea at nearly every meal. This was interspersed with hot teas as well.
This resulted in my not caring to have any tea again as long as I live. Of course, from time to time I will drink a bit of tea if there is nothing else available or if I am being respectful of a host who serves it.
Peace

I think if I was made to drink it I would grow to dislike it as well.

hi lmfisher! i wish i liked tea as much as you, because i have heard it does have a lot of health benefits, etc...i feel about milk like you do about tea, but i have never had it warmed! where i grew up in the south, sweet iced tea was served with every meal and is considered "the drink" like water, with meals or anytime...unfortunately, when i was about 10-12, (don't remember exactly) i almost drowned in a swimming pool and right before going in i had drunk some iced tea and after that experience i always link that taste with almost drowning...(sorry, i guess this was a downer from your enthusiastic post!)

That is not a good thing. I don't think I would enjoy ice tea as much if I had it so often.

It's not so much about health reasons that people enjoy drinking tea. It is the great taste. A bonus is healthy. I enjoy some hot green tea from now and then, and I really like cold green tea.

My friend who loves to drink tea and also experience and think what tea can bring to our human ourselves. For there are some kinds of tea, green tea and also black tea, they have different effects to us.So,do not feel too much pressure to our heart, our inner strength shows how our body operates.

A nice cup of tea does indeed warm the heart and the soul. Have you tried ginger tea with honey? Or Cranberry tea? I also have a nice mint tea from an Arab country. I love collecting different types of tea - especially in the wintertime when I can put my hands around the mug. For those cold mornings I have date tea; have you tried that before?

I have not tried that. I enjoy getting many different teas and trying them out. I really like this tea I had from japan, you had to make it in a coffee pot. It was great. Forgot what it was called though. I will always use honey in my tea, and never sugar.
