Do you wear pants even in hot weather?

Growing up, I would wear jeans even if it was hot outside. I didn't like to wear shorts or anything like that. Mostly it was because I didn't want to shave, or this was before I was "allowed to shave."
I will wear a skirt or shorts now though without much care or fuss.
What about you?

Yes I wear pants in even the hotest weather. I am not a big fan of my legs... Being born a red head I was cursed with the palest skin on earth! And my skin won't even tan!

Yes I am like you too. My skin is very pale and only my arms will tan a little but the rest it is cursed to be white. Although I can easily burn, that isn't fun either.

I am pale skinned myself, but may not as much as red head. However, I am still very white. I don't mind being so pale and wearing shorts, but I do hate how stubble on my legs shows up so easily!
I also burn very easily.

I'm right there with you guys. White legs and shorts just don't cut it in my opinion. I know some think it is fine, but to me.. if you don't have nicely tanned, shapely legs.. you shouldn't be in shorts or skirts without nylons. I have not worn shorts in my life other than to physical therapy on my knee nor do I wear skirts without nylons...okay, panty hose! Bare legs these days are the "in" style with bare feet in shoes.. and to me... that is just trashy. A woman has this beautiful dress on and hair done up and jewelery and as you scan down for the total look....once you hit those bare legs, knobby knees and bare toes... sorry, but that just trashes the dress and the look completely. I just dont 'see why women think it is so glamorous. But.. it is the style and to each her own! You just won't catch me with bare legs!

Or a lot of things you have to worry about if wearing them! lol.
Skirts are nice for a get together with friends, but that's the only time I wear one.

I will admit that there have been days that I have worn jeans with a tank top and sandals just to avoid shaving that day, but mostly I keep up with that grooming so that i can wear skirts and shorts without having to think if people will notice the growth.

I used to keep up with all of that shaving but now it's just the armpits I keep up with. I wear jeans otherwise, though there are times I shave specifically, especially if I am going out somewhere and want to wear a skirt. I always worry about around my knees as I tend to forget stray hairs there, and at my ankles.

I always wear underwear anymore though there was a time I gues I didn't worry about it as much, admittedly and at a risk of TMI.
I use toilet paper no matter if it's just pee. If I am out in a public place, even my work, I will tear off toilet paper and put it in the toilet before using the next bit of toilet paper to dry those parts with. Just for sanitary sake.

I am much how you were now, but I have always been this way. I do not like to wear shorts nor skirts or dresses, I just wear jeans all of the time. I would feel uncomfortable to wear shorts or something else. I prefer it and I will probably not change my mind about it any time soon.

I will wear shorts and skirts now, but I much prefer the jeans. I won't wear too short of skirts, as like I may have mentioned I don't sit "lady like" I can't stand to.
Dresses for me is the way it fits over my midsection.

I am bad about sitting lady like also. I don't know if I would ever remember with how many years I have just not done it. I suppose if I ever get someone worth wearing a dress for or a special occasion I will have to try.

Some jeans can be very hot, the ones I wear can get very hot in the summer seasons. Of course I don't have very many "thinish" type jeans. What I'd really like to get is the pajama jeans as you can wear them out and they look just like jeans so it's not so bad...

I do wear pants even in hot weather. And given the temperatures here in my country, I hate wearing shorts or sleeveless blouses. My reason for this is that I am squeamish when someone brushes over me and they are sweaty. If I wear pants and shirts at least I don't get to feel that. But that is just when I am outdoors. Indoors though (at home) I wear shorts and sleeveless tanks to be comfy.

I can understand being squeamish of touching other people when they are sweaty. I can be the same way. Even though we know it's just sweat it's still very gross and is bodily fluids excreting from their bodies.
I've not seen you in quite awhile. Maybe I've just missed you too much and you've been on, but welcome back either way!

I don't do much as it goes with getting out and when I do I'm not far from air conditioning. I walk around the neighborhood sometimes and then I'll wear shorts... I've come along way when it comes to shy ness because of my legs (which are PALE)

I don't think I can ever wear pants in hot weather if I had the choice. I always wear my cargo shorts, regardless of the climate. Sometimes, I do wear pants, but that is if it's absolutely needed (like it's your work uniform or you're attending a black-tie event)

Sometimes it can be so intolerable to wear long pants or dress pants even in hot weather because of an event or work!
I know the feeling, and wish some employers would be more lenient because of it.

To each their own really, though I do understand for some it can be way too hot. Some just don't like the way they feel in them, or their legs.

I wear sweat pants everywhere because one: they are comfortable to me. Two: I don't really like to shave for some reason...and three: because I have very bad self esteem and I just don't really like my legs...:(

I do not shave that much myself. I shave my armpits more then anything but as for my legs, no I don't do that so much. Only when it gets intolerable itchy with long pants on will I shave.
My legs are very pale white as while I do wear shorts outside now I don't go outside all that much either.
Legs are legs, though I can undertand we all have something on our bodies we don't like. For me it's my eyebrows, I always get them waxed.

I just used to wear pants only when I go outside from my home. rest of the time I make use of baniyans and short trousers to wear at my home. It doesn't matter it is cold or hot. I feel well comfortable with it.

When I am at home I am always in my pajamas. I wear clothes only when needing to go outside for whatever reason. I wear shorts more now outside then I did when I was younger though. What are baniyans?

I wear pants all day, everyday. I feel like my legs are way to skinny to wear shorts. Sometimes I wear caprees but that are still close to my ankles.

My legs are a little chubbier then they used to be, mostly on the top. Below my knee they are skinny but there are parts that are fat. Sometimes it's not so much the person's legs but the leg holes for the shorts or capris. Sometimes I wonder why they make short holes so flimmy, sometime's too tight.

We wear tight jeans over here in the USA, atleast the younger generation's do. I think the climate has a lot to do with things, if you're used to the heat your body doesnt' sweat as much...

I wear either a short or a skirt. Most of the ladies my age will wear what we used to call pedal pushers and for some they do not look that good. I find the jeans and slacks are too hot except when it is cold, and besides I do not exactly have a stock size so either they fall down on my hips or they are too big in the waist. The sports are adjustable and yes when I was young i had dark hair and white skin - hairy legs. Now I have a slight mustache , but that does not bother as much as the hair on my chin and I am always pulling out. Should buy a Tria Vita but that is too expensive.

I have very pale legs and dark hair, and I understand the chin hair thing as well. I have chin hair's and some are more pronounced then others. I once got my chin waxed but never again. It hurt but that wasn't why I won't ever do it again. The fact is that I looked mighty funny with three red spots, one on each eyebrow, one on my upper lip and one on my chin. I go to work right after a waxing as it doesn't bother me to have a red spot on my eyebrows or lip, but the chin? That was embarrassing!
Here I am babbling, sorry. I've heard of pedal pushers but not sure exactly what they are. For me skirts just don't usually look all that well on me unless they are jean skirts, those I feel more comfy in.

I always want to wear shorts but there are times that I get shy wearing shorts. Probably because whenever I wear shorts, I feel like people are staring at my legs. I feel like I['m naked down there. LOL. I just don't feel very comfortable wearing shorts.

That was one of the things that kept me wearing pants as well, because I was afraid people were looking at my legs. Now I don't really care if they do or not, but I've come along way since then.

Sometimes I do, yes. I tan easily. I have a few scars on both legs. So when I get sun, they show up against the tan, bright pink. I like to try and avoid that. So when I think of it, I put on jeans. Usually though, I just throw on shorts and am done.

I burn easily myself, but my legs are so pasty white right now. I don't really mind about that. I have a few scars from where I've fallen down playing when I was a kid.

During hot or warm weather, at home I always wear the most cool clothing I have, and the shorter the better, hehe, but that doesn't apply when I am outside, where Im residing people tends to disrespect, especially ladies when we use short clothings, so, to stay away from unwanted events, I still my jeans

I am sorry people tend to disrespect ladies whom wear shorts or skirts and the such, that's very disappointing. I can understand wearing jeans or long pants to avoid the conflict though. Sometimes it's best to appease people's ignorance (the ignorance being people whom dis respect others for wearing shorts).

I've worn sweatshirt and shorts in the winter as well but now because of where I live it's still way too cold in the house with just those two on. Last year I sported a, oh I forgot what it's called, but the big blanket you wear as a robe type thing...

I guess I am more comfortable wearing trousers rather than shorts/skirt. I would wear a skirt on special occasions, though, but I would prefer trousers.

Trousers can be comfortable, more comfortable then jeans. I usually wear a skirt on a special occasion or when it's just way more convenient.
