Where are you going for your summer vacation?

We have our 5-year old, granddaughter, for those two weeks, this year, so we are arranging for fun things for her and less relaxation for us. We will first visit our family in upstate New York, then drive over to New Hampshire for a few days in the White Mountains. We do not use hotels. We use homeaway.com to get rentals of homes, condos or apartments. It's so much cheaper. After that, we will spend time at our cousin's cabin rental in Maine. It's on Sebec Lake and it's so beautiful. It's a large house made for many people to stay. So relaxing. No internet, no television, no cell phones. Only a land line, radio and DVD player with the tv. I like going north, in summer, so much cooler. I like to go south in the cooler months. I am hoping, soon, to do another cruise. It's been a while and I really enjoy them, especially on Royal Caribbean.
