I an still taste it.. It tastes so bad. I didn't realize it, until i drank more than half of the glass. I knew it tasted so weird.. I thought it was just because it was purified, but then the more i drank the more it felt weird and minty..in a bad way.. and then i looked at the bottom and there were particles of soap..

Never go outside for at least 4 hours after drinking soap and water as someone will think you have rabies and shoot you.

Ops, that was really an experience. Imagine, you knew it tastes bad the first time you gulp it but still you continue to drink half of it. You could have checked it the first the moment you noticed the weird taste, anyway maybe the glass was not fully washed. Be careful next time, dear.

Our water is purified water, and there were times that they made the water even more cleaner by adding more processes which made the water taste different. I thought it was just that. Goo thing there were no side effects.

Yeah. Me, I drank water with ants in it. I was so thirsty I didn't noticed. Which one is more disgusting? hehehe

Oh, that is awful.. how could you not see the ants? At least it is not a scary or disgusting bug.. those are worse.. and they drown in water anyway..

Yeah, from now on i would be even more careful in taking anything. I always look at the water before i drink it and even smell it sometimes.. So that bad experience would not happen again.

I was on a friends yacht and was told it was my turn to make coffee. I went below and hunted through the galley for coffee, milk and sugar and eventually proudly came topsides with the mugs all milked and sugared to order. Nobody else said anything but my coffee with sugar tasted strange so I went below to check. I found I had used a jamjar with soap powder in it instead of sugar! The rest of the crew were too polite to complain but I wonder how much of the coffee was drunk and how much went over the side! haha

I wonder what the soap powder was doing in a jam jar, they should have labeled it well, since they are all white.. especially salt and sugar, you can't tell the difference unless you taste it.

That's just bad. Didn't you see those particles while taking a gulp?! I would have probably looked at what's wrong with the taste or perhaps asked someone else if they tasted something bad with the water before taking another sip or gulp of it! Particles of soap. So it's not dishwashing liquid? Perhaps some soap fell on it while it was being stacked. Whew! That's odd. I hope you wouldn't get upset stomach. Be very careful next time though. It's okay to have that accident at home, I wouldn't dare think of what would have happened if you were drinking from a public place! Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

I was busy watching a movie so i did not even bother, i though hat it was because of the purifying thing. It's not liquid, it's kind of that grainy soap in plastic boxes.. I was quite shocked too since we turn the glasses over so nothing gets in, maybe it was not properly washed..

It's a good thing the quantity of soap in the water you drank wasn't large in amount. Drinking too much of it could make you vomit and really upset your stomach. I think eating something sour would help get rid of the taste.

Yeah, good thing the glass wasn't that big either.. but the taste stayed in my back throat for while. I just ate cake, since it has sticky/buttery icing and maybe it cleaned up my throat... maybe the soap stuck to it.

EEk, did you have any adverse reactions? Any medical issues after you drank it? I would think your stomach would have some after ingesting some soap? I do hope not though. I would not have drank it if it tasted strange to me, though. How did the soap get there??

How dreadful for you, lady1993! I have done this very thing from time to time and the taste lingers for the longest time. Even worse, once when I was camping some fuel from the camp stove spilled in a container in which I also had some foodstuffs. When I ate the food, I could taste the fuel fumes in the food. I ate too much and had to stop eating because the taste was so bad. I still tasted this fuel taste for many days later. I hope that you are able to get past the soap taste real soon. Peace

Oh, that is even worse.. having to taste fuel-ish food. Why did you still eat them, even if you know that some fuel fell into them, that is quite dangerous..

That is really weird to taste water with soap particles, the good thing it is not with soap solution. You might jeopardize your health if it does.
