We just have to work with sincerity to be able to keep the job so that it would be profitable to both the employer and the employee. On the other hand, being self-employed is also good since you don't have a boss and you can implement your own strategies for the success of your business. But personally, I would like to have my present job and to have my own business as well.

I would prefer to concentrate on my art all the time, but it is not a realistic option at least not at the moment.

It is better to have own business because you are the boss of your own business. And its up to you if you want to succeed or not.

Yes, they are totally different. Actually I have a own shop for selling cloths in the eBay, and also work in a small company in the daytime. I think if the work is easy and iterative but the payment can make you excited, work for others/company will surly become boring and you will just wait for your salary every week/month. But if we do the business for ourselves, although even no one will check the price in your shop the whole day, you will feel depression but no boring forever. And maybe you earn less money from your own business than in the company, but you will surly pay more attention in it because it's yours.
