Duckhunt's character

Duckhunt was my childood game on nintendo back then. But until now i still wonder if the developer eve gave the name of those character's name ??
so what do you think guys ?? should those character get a name ?? :)

Aside from the dog and the ducks there really wasn't any characters in the game. I always called the dog Stupid Dog, because he use to annoy me when he laughed every time I missed.

Ah yeah!! always angry when i failed to shot them! :D
or maybe, the developer didn't think to gave a name of these character, regarding every game developer nowadays name the character :)

Nintendo is pretty good at that stuff. I think since you are the main player, they didn't bother with it. Did you ever try to shoot the dog?
