Good News!

People are naturally interested in receiving good news. We're all tired of hearing bad news as whenever we watch news on television, we almost always see and hear bad ones. It's stressful and depressing. But, why are we even reporting bad news once we experience one? I admit I had been reporting glitches and stuffs happening here lately and I am apologizing to the admin and to those who are affected. It's my bad. But, to give one reason why I reported those rather bad news was because I am seriously affected. I believe people get to spread bad news when they are threatened or affected by it. Nothing more. Because like I earlier said, we are by nature into receiving and spreading good news. That is why even if it doesn't concern anyone else, I reported right away how much I earned in one day -- $5. Well, that encouraged many. And I resolved that from this day onward, I will only post Good News in stead of bad ones to encourage and inspire others and not to annoy or steal their hopes. Cheers, peeps!

I don't know why TV report are mostly bad news. Soem sad it can easily catch viewers about it. But I guess it is not recommended at all times. It is good to hear ositive ones rather than negatives. This makes us motivated to continue in our life and all the problems will be surpassed. That's a great earning. How I wish I could also earn that in a day without lossing the hopes of others. can you give me tips about it? Good day!

Hi, Asdomencil, I can tell you why because I work in TV news. All the news agencies, the media, also the politicians and the institutions and everyone tell us the bad news in the first place! I would like to tell people good news but most of the times they are not considered as important. Thanks God, recently we had news like the historical victory of Spain in Euro 2012! I was glad to show the moving pictures of a country in euphoria. So sometimes we have good news too

This means that bad news makes a big impact on viewers rather than giving the good news.. Thanks for that info.

Hi, Sharksfin, this topic is very important for me. I'm a news journalist and I'd like to tell people good news in the first place. But every day when I open the news agencies I see bad things at the top of the news. Some of them are important like the news about the floods in Russia with more than 100 victims. But some topics are annoying for me like the political crises. You are right that we should try to post good news and give hope to others. Have a nice time!

Awesome! You're a news journalist, huh?! Cool. I was offered that kind of job once a few years back but I wasn't so confident in doing it. But, I thought to myself that if I will ever take the challenge, I will always write about only good news. News that will inspire and give hope. We already hear to much bad news and it's about time to focus on what can lift up everyone's spirits. I even thought of starting a blog about it some time ago.

What a sparkling topic, this one really did catch my attention.that is the human mentality i guess.we all always want to hear only good things so are inclined towards it.we always keep ourself out of the bad news and hope for the best. As you said that can really cheer up people and enlighten their day and ultimately it gives them a new lease of hope and inspires them to try for their welfare and if they are succeeding its awesome. That is the reason why people always like good rather than bad.it has more benefits overall

i'm totally agreed with you. people tend or love to hear a good news. but sometimes, bad news isn't bad at all. well, life's not always good and also not always bad. like you said, even though it is a bad news, people could be affected with it. its shows that how tough we are yet we still have a soft spot deep inside us.
