Hi everyone
Hope everyone are having a great day today.
Yesterday, I bought a pants/jeans in sale proce which is half the price of its original srp. It still look nice and the fit is fine with me but quite long for me. That is always my problem when buying pants or jeans, the length cause I am not that tall lol
I do plan to bring it to an alter station for alterationpf its length cause I don't like folding it all the time to avoid stepping on it while walking.
How about you folks, do you bring pants, jeans or clothes for alteration when it is quite longer for you?

I can sew, so it`s easy for me to alter clothes to suit my needs. I just bought me a pair of pants and I needed to make the thighs thiner and take up the hem. One of my daughters helped me two days ago as my eyes aren`t what they were. I taught both of my daughter`s to sew. I brought back home the pants with all the alterations done except for the hem. Yesterday a friend came for tea and, while we talked, she knitted and I hemmed my pants.

For me it is easier to sew or knit when I`m talking with a friend. I don`t like to do that alone.

Hello there. I live in a country where women don't usually tall. I was born tall and with long legs, and have difficulties finding long jeans or pants for some time, until those American or European brands came to my country like five years ago! I am so grateful for that, LOL. I need at least 32" for the inseam, and 34" for even a better look, so I never had to do alteration for my pants / jeans. It is lucky for being not tall here in my country, since you can have good items with low prices; while for tall people, sometimes you need to spend extra money since you are not the regular size.

I do! I always do and I am not ashamed of it. I was born petite and no matter how I try to look for jeans that would suit me well without altering it's length, I really can't find one. So, everytime I buy jeans, I always have them alter it to fit my legs length, it is free for some malls and they put it back to original cut sometimes.

Yeah. I always do that because the pants I buy seems to always not fit exactly the way I like. Some of them are too long, some are too wide in the heel area and in the waist area.

I just alter them myself or find somewhere that has a style of jeans that fits me properly. Jean lengths typically vary by about two to three inches. While buying jeans try to look for the pairs that have shorter leg lengths or get a good sewing machine so that you dont have to keep paying other people to alter your jeans. Good luck with your future shopping adventures.
