YouTube provides karaoke in the comforts of my own home!

...and best thing of all, it's for free. I dunno with you guys but here in my country people are sooo into karaoke. The locals call it videoke. It's a favorite past time. And in every occasion, there has to be one or the celebration isn't complete.
But, thanks to technology, I don't have to wait for another event before I can do sing-along...because YouTube allows me to do that whatever time of the day FREE OF CHARGE. I just hope my neighbors won't mind me singing this early in the morning. hahaha
So, who's enjoying karaoke on YouTube? ME! Some of my faves are songs of Mariah, Taylor Swift, Aliyah, Avril, Beyonce and many MORE....

The karaoke I appreciate in youtube are the obscure hard to find songs you wont find in Karaoke bars. I am a bit of a hipster so in other words my taste in music is not as mainstream so yeah the songs I like to sing is hard to find. Most karaoke machines offers nothing but mainstream songs. its nice I can sing Indie artist songs, Videogame themesongs, anime themesongs and non English songs in Karaoke format because they were found in youtube.

You are not alone. :) I like those, too. Anime songs are fun and cute! I wish I can learn how to create karaoke videos one day.

there are tutorials in youtube on how to remove vocals in a song, I think that is the first thing you need to learn on making karaoke. There is also tutorials on how to make karaoke videos.

I don't sing. But I appreciate it when I can listen to some music and read the lyrics at the same time on Youtube. I used to have a neighbor who loves to sing karaoke. I loved the songs that he was singing and his voice. But he was too noisy. We could even hear his beating his own mother.:(
We live in a different apartment now. Our neighbor's maids are very noisy, even noisier than my old neighbor. They would play love songs early in the morning at maximum volume and would sing-along. I know I can't sing and I'm no better than my neighbor's maids when it comes to singing, but their singing is really getting on my nerves LOL. Their voices are loud enough for the whole building to hear. It's really annoying especially when I'm not in the mood to listen to cheesy songs. A lot of people had been complaining.
I guess if no one has complained about your singing, then it's either your neighbors are enjoying your voice or your voice isn't loud enough. So just keep on singing and enjoy the free karaoke at the comforts of your home.:)

...or it could be that they're just like you who just put up hearing the noises as you can't just go to their house and knock to express your sentiment. hahaha
I am not sure about that but I just moved to this place four months ago and I rarely do karaoke here than in my former place. I am not comfortable yet making noise. But, I regularly play music. I particularly play Christian music almost most of the time.
Don't worry I don't have the guts to sing on the top of lungs. hihi

If no one has sssshhhh you yet, then your neighbors probably don't mind your singing. I had ssssshh my neighbors before and a few others had asked the guard to tell them to keep quiet. It didn't stop them. They seemed determined to make our lives miserable.:(
I wish they would just play Christian songs. It would make me feel good in the morning. But I really hate their songs. Imagine how irritated I was when I was in the bathroom doing my thing while my neighbors play "Careless Whisper". I really wanted to throw up that time.

Oh gosh! I sing karaoke on Youtube too. When I have a new favorite song, I'll just search its instrumental or karaoke on Youtube and that's it! I get to sing the songs I want to sing. :) And sometimes the video come with back up vocals too.

Well, I must say that the progress and technology have really made great strides especially in recent years. Just Youtube, if I don t mistake was born in the year 2005 has become a source of inexhaustible resources.
Beyond the fact that you can find videos of any kind, just now away, I heard about that, has been implemented the karaoke function.
What's the next step this website of broadcasting most famous in the world?
