We should always start each day feeling good about ourselves. Thus the title of this discussion. I want to remind myself that I am wonderfully created by God. I may have lotsa flaws. I may have done countless mistakes in the past. I may have losta scars from hurtful experiences...but, I am a beauty because of all these things. I wouldn't be who I am if not for the pain, trials, challenges, failures, and people who did nothing but test my character. It's a wonderful life, indeed.
Everything in life is a choice. We can start the day frowning, complaining about almost everything, hating, sulking...or we can be thankful, joyful, happy, smiling and appreciating the small blessings that greeted us today... Take a pick!

Right. God's will for all of us is for us to be happy and thankful at all times. He doesn't like seeing us gloomy. Although, HE allows us to feel sad and experience not so good things at times, it's only because HE wants us to grow and growth only happens through trials, challenges and problems. Let's be happy that God bothers beautifying us more through scars. ^_^

hello,
Yeah my friend you are absolutely correct. We should always be happy with what we have rather than crying for what we dont have. Its really necessary to appreciate the things you have in your life, till you have it. You will definitely regret once you loose it. So be happy in the way God created you and given you this life to be in this beautiful world. And also try make a good impression on others and help each other out all the time. Then only you will fulfill your destiny.

I agree. There's nothing else better than being useful and helpful to others. What does it benefit me if I just keep gaining and gaining yet not extending the blessings to others? As I appreciate myself, I also appreciate others. And however I treat myself is the same way I'll be able to treat others, as well.

I absolutely agree with you. How we lead our lives is our choice, and how we gonna make it beautiful it is also our choice. We can make it miserable if we want to, or we can make it much beautiful as we want too. Why not keep on smiling, and keep those optimism on your head. Come up a solution to every problem, and do the best to conquer them. Make it beautiful as you may want to.

Some people would reason that how can they just ignore what they feel? There came a point in my life when I became depressive and I often told myself that there's an excuse to the sadness I feel. I didn't choose it. It's another's fault why I feel the way I feel, was what I give as a reason. Then, one day, I just came to a realization that staying in an emotion is a choice. It's similar to getting sick. You feel the symptom and all. You can either do something about it or just nurse the sickness. But, if you're thinking properly, of course you're gonna get up, either have yourself checked or take an over-the-counter medicine. Thanks for the time posting a comment here. ^_^
