I've been in my current job for 7 years now. But I feel like I'm not moving forward in this career. Our office is just small which means career advancement seems almost impossible unless the big bosses retires and we take their place. My financial needs are getting bigger so I've been thinking of venturing to another career path. But I'm not yet that decided. I'm basically scared of starting all over again and leave my comfort zone. But I guess I have to take chances right? I just feel like I won't fit in the other careers.

...there goes what hinders you...you don't trust yourself enough. Don't ever say anything like "I just feel I won't fit in the other careers". That's not true. You only have to believe in yourself and the God-given skills and talents you have. Pray about it so you have a partner to help you what decision should take. Ask God what HE wants for you. Then, base your decision from His answer. Weigh the sitch as well. If there's really no growth in that company...not necessarily promotion... then leave by all means. When talking of growth, it's not just salary increase or promotion that you should consider. You should also look if you are growing as a person. If your skills are being enhanced and talents are being honed. Because these things will really benefit you later on. If the company is rather making you stagnant, then, don't have second thoughts. It's not anymore good to stay there. All the best for you.
