Do you have a good friend that you two don't always contact with each other?

yes, I do have that kind of friend. He is right now in other country looking for a greener pasture. We don't talk we just only do chatting seldomly because she's not allowed to stay in the internet for a long time.However the feeling of being together is still present and it seems she's just beside me.I;m missing her when I wrte this...I hope she will be fine there!

Come to think of it, I do have a good friend I managed to know when I first arrived at the University I am studying at. I am a chinese and he is one of the punjabi. We started to talk with each other and sometimes he would come over to my hostel room and chat with me, telling me about his feeling and what he is going through in the class. Starting my third year of degree I failed to get hostel and had to move to rental house. Since then we barely meet each other and talk. However, we would still think about each other and help each other. Now I am about the enter my fourth year of study and I really hope that I can get hostel this time.

I think this happens. Not necessarily because of distance. It's just we all get to be both occupied and preoccupied with so many things. I believe when you hold someone in your heart so dearly, you don't always need to be with each other. There are people who are always sticking with each other but hurt each other and do nasty things to each other. Some are even saying hurtful words about and to each other. So, what's the point of staying together? Real friends look for each other and wanna be with each other in times when they need someone they can trust and in times when they need to share triumph with someone so dear to them. :)

Yes I think so. How lucky those individual who shall find friendship in true nature. Your feeling and emotion weather it's bad or good and your willingness to share it with your friend is one indication that you want that certain person to be part of your life that you'll miss when gone for long. You must keep communication open and just simply say "hi" most of the time.

Yes I think it is true friendship. Me and my friend have been friends since we were very little, we went through school together and were never really apart but after school we did different things, she went straight out to work and I went to college so we started seeing less of each other. Then as we got older we both had children and saw each other even less. I see her now maybe once a month and we try to speak on the phone at least once a week, we can still tell each other absolutely everything. This is true friendship and will last a lifetime.

This is true friendship..and not everyone has true friendship..i guess you are lucky...I hope they feel for you the same way though
