I just feel discriminated against. I go to the liquor store and they want me to prove I'm 21 and if that wasn't enough when I go to pay for my booze with a check they want some sort of proof that I'm really who I say I am! The very idea! I go to my bank and in order to draw out my OWN money I have to prove once again that I am me, sheesh. I wanted to go on a cruise this summer but I have to have a passport just to board the ship, can you imagine the hassle? I had to go get a picture made and then take three, THREE types of identification just to get a passport. Does anyone here agree with me that I'm being discriminated against?

How old do you look?. I've seen people get asked for ID who look clearly over the age of 18.

Lol, Lakerfan, but not quite my point. I'm 62 by the way if that helps.

Discrimination is applying one set of rules to some people and another set of rules to others. If they did NOT ask you to prove your age because you clearly look older than 21, THAT would be discrimination.

Again, everyone has missed my point. I really didn't want to spell it out but the whole piece is satirical. Think current events.

Oh thank god. I only read the first few comments. I'm greatly relieved. It's hard to be satirical when there really is so many foreigners on here who many, don't seem to be able to grasp common everyday existence. I get it now.... I think.

Hello rodney. Well I know that you are being discriminated against. I am also being discriminated against because I have to show my Id to get certain prescriptions, to get into see my physician, to cash a check but not to get vote now. I can get an ID for free in some places and I can even get a ride to the DMV to get a photo ID but It is discrimination to even think of asking me to get one.

Hmmm... I don't think they're being discriminating. Maybe you really look different in photos. There are really people like that. Could be that you look a lot younger in person. And, that in fact is rather a compliment, if you ask me. ^_^ Though, I am aware of the hassle it entails. Keep your cool!
