It has always be that office workers or government servant wears suit and black leather shoes to work. The politician do the same as well. However these days we can see white leather shoes as well as other leather shoes in shoes store. I myself bought a white one and I am wearing it to my Internship with a government agency. What do you think about wearing white leather shoes to work? Is it allowed at your place?

It can be a trend. But, I used to wear black or brown shoes for work or going to any occasion.

As a female, I have several pairs of white shoes. The advantage to wearing them to work in an office would be that there is a lesser chance of them getting dirty there than if you wore them on the street. However, for men, I think of white shoes as exclusively a casual option. I am sure that there are ways that men can wear white shoes and still look professional, but what would be an example of such an outfit?

Here you can wear anything to work but I always think that it is a little weird for men to wear white shoes because I don't think it is easy to match the clothes well. And it is easy to get dirty, too. I prefer the black leather shoes much more because it looks much more formal. I love China

As long as you are doing your work and looking like a professional then I think it is okay. I used to wear crocs when I was still working in a hospital.

There is nothing such restrictions on the clothes or the foot wear we use from the office. We people are much freed to wear what ever we need but the only thing is that the dress should not be an ugly one. I used to wear both black as white shoes while I go to my office. still now no one did not question me.

White Footwear - Here's a picture of me wearing white footwear, paired with a white blouse.
This discussion caught my eye because I am wearing white shoes at work today. They are not leather, but are rubber flats. I have always been fond of white footwear, and have owned several pairs over the years. I don't think that there would be problems if officials wear white leather shoes to work, except for that such shoes may not go well with certain outfits. An all-black suit would of course look good with black leather shoes.

Wearing white leather shoes is okay for me. I think it is not just practical for those who commute to school or office because of the dirt your shoes will encounter on the street. Anyway, here in our work place everyone is required to wear close shoes because this is a laboratory. It does not matter if it's black, brown or white or leather or rubber. As longs as it is closed and can endure chemicals. Lol. I prefer to wear those rubber made shoes especially when raining because the water will not enter into the shoes that easily and they are more durable.

I guess there's nothing wrong wearing whte shoes especially now that fashion is evolving. Yes, black shoes are the traditional one but white nowadays penetrates the fashion industry. For nurses and othe hospital staffs, white shoes is just normal to them. In our workplace, it is not prohibited to wear white shoes as long as it will cover the policy of wearing closed shoes whatever color it is.

Hello, I think a white leather shoe would be quite nice, and very fashion forward. I dont work in any type of government agency or formal sort of place I wear my running shoes to work. So it would definitely be allowed there! I think the shoes are a small part of the outfit and changing them up to try something different is okay as long as you still look professional. i dont think colour is a large barrier in the work place. the problem would be in wearing white leather pants i think! lol
