Friends. There are quite many times wherein i get dizzy inside the cab. It doenst smell bad or anything. I would ride at the back seat. There are times though that i dont get dizzy. Why is this so? Is it me or is it the driver or is it the cab?

Sometimes it really depends on the type of cab that you are into. There are low end and high end vehicles types wherein the high end ones minimizes the shocks absorbed by the vehicle from uneven or rough roads. That is where the dizziness come from. From the nature of the road and inability of the shock absorbers of the vehicle to immediately absorb the force and revert back to normal state. Maybe also, the cab is already old and the shock absorbers are already worn out. Another factor could be the driver itself. Sometimes, it is the kind of driving that the driver itself is implementing. You will surely be dizzy inside the cab if the driver abruptly shift gears and also nonchalantly steps on the brakes too often without proper timing. Or maybe it is just you and your body's state which is not in good condition that you become dizzy. Well, analyze and take your pick on what is the real cause.

Yeah, I noticed the increase of the new models of cabs around the areas. They make passengers be choosy in riding cabs. In fact, when I chanced to ride a cab before, the cab driver told me that when he was driving the newer models of cab he can reach his boundary and easily and get passengers easily too. Also, the newer models are gas efficient making them a great choice in their nature of work.

It probably is the way the Cab driver drives, and it is making you car sick in some way. Unless you are getting the same cab or cab driver, and it is their cologne or something in the cab. But I know there are people out there that the way they drive has made me have motion sickness, and many who do not.

My Mom is like that, you are thinking of it that is why you get dizzy, as the doctors say to her dont expect/wait for that dizzy ness, rather compel yourself with other things than thinking of it.

As said somewhere above, try opening a window. Also, it may have something to do with 'whether you're watching the scenery go by' and/or 'how you're focusing on things outside': if you're not looking outside, your guts don't have the instant they need to react-to/prepare-for the oncoming ups-and-downs; if you're focusing on things coming close and then falling away, your inner ear may think you're on a giant bungee-cord. Or not. I dunno.

You might have a case of motion sickness. Motion sickness might sometimes lead to vomiting. I also feel dizzy sometimes when traveling in a air conditioned car. But that usually happens when i am reading or writing somethings

Have you tried sitting in the passenger seat? (not that I suggest it, but if you're not comfortable doing it with just you and the driver try it with friends). Sometimes, not only in cabs but all cars, make me dizzy whenever I ride at the back. This could be a mild case of motion sickness, minus all the throwing up of course.

It is normal thing for each every one of us feel the spell of dizziness, while riding a cab. The reason, there is no enough air circulates within the cab, especially if the windows are all closed. Our brain needs enough oxygen to function well. That's the fact, we tend to feel so dizzy due to lack of oxygen in our brain.
