My sister is also a nurse; while waiting for her exam results and license, she decided to take some part time job at our local community health center. She just spend like 4 hours everyday, from 8am-12 noon. Just so she could do something while waiting and at the same time be more acquainted in ehr line of work. She only gets allowance but it's ok for her. As this is only temporary and she's got long term plans once the results are out.

Well, her allowance is really for her meals; it's like more of a volunteer work because she even has to spend her own money for fare. They do give her some "lunch money" and that's just about it. It is after all a public health center so everything is funded by the government and that is very limited.

Oh yes, she's thankful of it, and it's still better than nothing. She even told me that it's her way of sharing her time and knowledge to those who need it most. Monetary wise, its not fulfilling. But it makes my sister feel good about herself, and I guess that's something no money can ever buy.

I just taken the July 2012 NLE and I am currently a BUM, all eat and sleep routine everyday. Well my advise to you as for now is, focus on your review and do not think about anything else that has nothing to do with the board exams and eat lots of foods and avoid dieting, you cannot afford to be sick while having the exams. After the exams you should ready your SSS, Philhealth, TIN, NBI clearance so you will not be hassled when looking for a job, after completing that all relax or just look for part time jobs like call centers, transcriptionist, or job related work like volunterism. Good luck in the exams, Good day and God bless

I don't know how long will it take to release the results of the nurong board exam. In my case, it is just three working days to get the result of chemists board exam. I waited for it before looking a job. Furthermore, when I passed the exam, I still look for work and for about a month of searching I was luckily hired by my past boss to work for them again. I think, if it will only took few days before the result is released, try to just wait it and look for a job after you got the result. By the way, good luck!

The best thing to do is continue to review fro the upcoming boar exams. You can kill your boredom by talking to your books, it is taking one step a time principle. If you do pass the licensure examination, then go to the next level. That is, to find a decent job related to your profession. Good luck and God bless!

I just spend my time going in a vacation. Don't be too focus on your job immediately. Take your time to relax in white beaches or spending time with your family. You deserve to have it because you spend almost 4 years of your life studying. Rest your mind and have find and don't take time to think of the result. Be confident that you can pass.

that would be most difficult to answer honestly, but the right thing to do is to find a work that you love to do or doing things that you love, cause in that way you could ease your anxiety etc.. or even your attention will go of those thing. it might be in your place etc. or everywhere as long as you love what your doing.

I have 2 sisters in law who are both registered nurse. The other currently working as accountant because she is also a certified public accountant and the other one who recently passed the nursing board exam is currently working in a nearby hospital as a trainee nurse. I heard that she does not earn that much but it is actually a good experience and training for her. She has been there early this year and still working there at present. Maybe you could also look for opportunities to widen your knowledge and skills. This will help you a lot to look for a good job after.

For sure you really have to find a job to eliminate the boredom and so that you can still enjoy using your own money and not from your parents.I guess it makes sense if you will try to be independent so that you can know how to manage your time, money and everything while waiting for the result of your exam.
