Some say that watching movies when you recently got your heart broken would help you to move on faster. I don't know if it's true, but do you guys agree with it? if you do, please give me some movie suggestions. Thanks.

Yes, I guess we all have to experience our heart being broken at some point of our life, unfortunately for me, that time is now. I am now doing my best to cope up with it and hopefully I would be able to fix my heart again but for now I need some distractions. Thank you for your suggestion, I would definitely check it out.

I don't think it can help us move on faster, but I am pretty sure that it can help us divert our attention for a while. @seiya87 just go all throughout the process of moving on. I don't think it's possible to control emotions, especially the pain. I'm also currently doing the same thing. Since our breakup I started to appreciate watching movies, for it is one of the divertional activities I do. I just don't like watching romantic movies that much. ;-)

It was a good idea watching movies after breakups, you can enjoy hanging out to a friend, make yourself busy, but it was depend on the theme of the movie, just watch a movie which is related to your situation it can help and also you can relate on it. But I prefer comedy movie, because we deserve to laugh after all the problems we have.

i feel for you @seiya87, though i don't really have any experiences yet on being heart broken and such. i suggest you watch something that will make you forget, i mean something that will make you feel better and lighter like comedies? let's see if you're looking for something, maybe princess diaries 1&2? princess diaries is really good though its not really a full love story type of movie but still the princess in the end got her happy ending despite all the troubles she faced and all. oh well, its really up to you if you want to move on or sulk forever for a love that doesn't have any happy ending at all. ^_*

if you want to divert your attention from your broken heart by watching a movie, don't go watching romantic ones. try action and comedy. and be sure to watch it with your friends. it sets your mood right and lessens the chemical imbalance which causes your depression.
