I am an owner of a jack russel terrier. I think they're such cute dogs and very playful. They're also very good hunters. Every night my 2 year old jack russel is always on the lookout for small rodents or lizards or anything moving that she can take down and kill. She's such a cute little thing. She also loves water. I think most jack russels do. I think it's so cute when she plays in a pool of water and fights with the water like it's a monster and she wants to kill it or something. She's very hyper. I so love her hyperness.
I used to have a male jack russel before but he had a heart attack and now my russels playmate is a 5 year old duchshund named Isabel.
Do you have a jack russel? How old is he/she?

I have never had one of them dogs, i had dogs as a kid a husky and a lab then i had begals at one time too.
I cant have dogs where i live now but, i have always wanted a Yorkshire terrier they are soo cute.

we did have a jack russel a year ago but it passed away it's name was springer because they liked to jump it tore the house up and its companion was a small dog they was so funny anything springer did the little dog tried to do also thats one of my best memories of him I still miss him to this day.

Jack Russels are so hyper and active that I just never had the room for them to run and play. I did have four dachshunds at one time. In fact, my first ever dog was a black and tan dachshund. I named him Snoopy. A mean neighbor poisoned him. Over the years, I had many dogs and cats. I'm down to one cat now. When I see someone talking about Jack Russels I always think of Eddie on the tv program Frasier.
