How to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

Do you still have time to exercise after working all day in the office? Sitting on the chair the whole day doing a lot of paper works. After your lunch break you will get back to work again. But do you get motivated after a long day at work? How are you going to maintain a healthy lifestyle? How can we exercise regularly when we work all day?

I think no matter how much work for daytime we have,we still need to squeeze some time to do some exercise to keep our body healthy.As for me,I usually play about half hour badminton at night after dinner,and at the weekend I will call some of my friends to ride some bicycle to travel around our city and climb the mountain which near us.

Hi skyandgrassplot Wow that's fantastic. I think I have to invite my friends to play badminton.:) I like this sport.It's adventurous also to invite my friends for any hiking activities or climbing the mountain. Thanks for that fantastic ideas:)

We should spend at least 15 minutes each day to do any form of exercise. I think 15 minutes is not too much even if you're on a very busy schedule. Park your car at the farthest point, so that you'll be forced to walk towards it. That would help activate your muscles a little bit. Don't forget to make a few stretches, too, while you're sitting at your desk.

I am also in a similar position as yours. All day work, sitting on chair. I do try to take breaks in between, walk a bit. I try to use stairs instead of elevator. However, it seems insufficient. Last year, I even had a back problem and had to go nearly 20 Physiotherapy sessions. It felt better afterwards. Now, I try to take out 5-10 minutes to do some of the exercises recommended by the Physiotherapist. May be you can try exercising first for 5-10 minutes and then increase the time duration. However, I am trying to start jogging at least on weekends, or sundays.

I have been losing a lot of weight recently because I knew that it was something that I was going to have to do to be able to live the life that I wanted to. I started eating healthy foods and doing a lot of walking because I knew that I wanted to get fitter than I had ever been in the past. I try to add exercise into everything that I do, for example I will never drive to the shops I will always walk to the shops instead. I work all day as well, but if you try to walk around a little bit during your lunch break then you can always exercise after work.

Though I admit that I seldom exercise the usual way. I make it sure that I walk to the office and in going home also. My wife have this half-rice policy, low carbo diet that we strictly follow, no softdrinks or cola around. In times like this, we really need a partner to help us become fit, they will remind us to observe healthy ways, vice versa. Thanks

It is just simply stay healthy. Maintain balance diet, refrain from eating that is not healthy.

Well, what most people do is tend to forget about any type of exercise, and claim they are too busy, or too tired. And then they wonder where the extra pounds crept in at, or why they start having other issues as well. Even if you cannot get in some much needed exercise in other ways, taking time to do some walking is very essential. It will do your body good, and cut down many times on the need for other Health issues in your future.

I never go to gym for exercise. For daily I do sit up or push up every morning before I do house work routine. I don't like jog, I can't swim, :D Im not sport lover actually. I take house work as otherkind of exercise cos I move my body alot and burn some calories. I prefer cook my own meal and eating home than eating outside. I consume many kind of fruits everyday and drink water or juice instedad of carbonate drink. Only one problem with me: Im not easy to fall asleep, always sleep late.
