I used to like to eat traditional noodles or eggs bread for breakfast and it is easy to find it in any corner of street in Vietnam.
My habit is changed since i went to Korea: I eat rice. Korean people prefer eat rice for breakfast. We have many dishes in breakfast as a meal at lunch. I remember i lived in a dormitory and eating in the dormitory's restaurant. Bread, milk, cereals are serviced from 6:30 - 7:30 am only, after 7:30 we eat rice. I never wake up before 7:30 am because of sleeping late at 2 am then i have 3 rice meals a day.
Till now I still keep that habit even though i live in Vietnam now. My breakfast: I eat rice...

I noticed the same thing when I lived in Indonesia. They seem to have the habit of eating rice meals three times a day. Once in a while I'd make some fried rice for breakfast. It's usually on weekends when I have some left over rice from last dinner. Does not really happen very often, though, as I do not eat rice regularly.

just a cup of coffee is fine with me till lunch time.

They do this in Japan too I'm pretty sure. Rice is good but is it healthy to be eating so much since you have it 3 times a day?
I could probably eat rice for breakfast if it was given to me but it would take some getting used to. I eat eggs, toast, cereal and a nice cup of tea too. Oh and I don't wat all those things at once, not a big eater

In our country most people eat rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I too have the habit of eating rice for breakfast. In fact, when I was still a child, my mother does not want us to leave the house going to school without eating breakfast and rice is always served. Now that I have grown up already and perhaps of changes in my work, I no longer eat rice for breakfast. In fact, I do not even eat breakfast. Coffee is all I need and it keeps me going till lunch time where I would now eat the rice.

Actually it is better to eat light food in brakefast. Take milk and egg is goog.
But Doctor do not suggest heavy food like rick in brakefast. But when proper food is not available we have to eat what ever is available. Good food at proper time we have then good health

I think because heavy breakfasts make you sleepy early in the morning when you have to go to work :)

It is healthy to have good breakfast. I don't like eating rice at breakfast, I like mild and bread instead. I think it is more convient.

There is no difference if you changed your preferences to food. Rice is carbohydrates, it gives more energy to our body. Breakfast is the most important, since working in the morning without food, will make inefficient if you are hungry.

Did you just say rice!?! I absolutely adore rice.I love to have it in the morning,afternoon,night- in fact any time of the day. They are lighter than most wheat products and I also, being food sensitive, rice is a blessing for me.
A nice substitute would be noodles..but nothing beats rice. How do you like your rice as fried ones or lemon or spicy flavoured??
Do answer back.Good day!!

Asians are the highest consumers of rice worldwide, for people living in the Philippines, we serve rice from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Though some regions in our country may start their day with bread and coffee, others consumes boiled or steamed sweet potatoes or purple yam, some use corn rice even. But still, never will we miss eating a meal with steamed rice.

Definitely not the sort of breakfast you generally see in the States.
I will eat rice for breakfast if I happen to have some leftover. However, I haven't been preparing much rice recently. In fact, we currently don't have any at all. Since we are in the process of relocating, we won't be buying any rice or much of anything else until after we get settled into our next place.

Ryan, when i was still a kid, i used to see my mother preparing fried rice or fried rice noodle with a fried egg for breakfast. It seems my parents never feel fed-up with this kind breakfast. They said heavy breakfast is a must for a healthy body. Only when i am in college, then i change my breakfast into eating bread or cakes with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate milk. Sometimes, when i am bored eating noodles, cakes or bread then i will switch to eating fried rice as my breakfast again. Seems like, rice is always a favorite food for breakfast.

I eat rice during breakfast because it makes you more full to last the whole day before lunch. When you're traveling a lot going to work, you need to be full so that you can get to the office without being hungry. You can get ulcer.

Wow. Their breakfast time is so early. I am still probably sleeping at that time. I sometimes have rice for breakfast too. I like eating rice with sausage or hotdog and an egg on the side. I think it is really healthy to eat rice on breakfast. It makes people have energy starting in the morning. Happy mylotting!
