In every occasions, we usually celebrates with various kind of delicacies, tag long with alcohol intake. I don't refute the idea of drinking liquor. I felt so frustrated if the person got drunk and can't control himself; the senses are in full blast. The uncontrollable motions seems so irritating. They don't bother to limit themselves for drinking too much. How pathetic? I tried being drunk, but I know what is going on in my world. Why do people drink alcohol too much?

@Shavkat I personally don't see drunk people as pathetic. It's fine you think that just I think a bit differently. It's actually sad that people will deem others are trash when caught being drunk because there's a chance that person is addict to it. And then it goes deeper when you find out why they feel they need this addiction. Sometimes people drink for fun while others fun it a way to escape reality.
Best to understand why people do what they do before judging them I think.

People over drink for different reasons! Peer pressure is one. Some people get drunk because they think it is fun when it really isn't! Some people become alcholhics because it is an addiction. People drink to forget the pain and frustration which is not a good idea!

Hi there,
for some reason i drink but i can not tolerate it i get very bad allergic reactions. i usually get so red and itchy. the worst that happened was when i was having a hard time breathing.... that is really very bad. sometimes when i think about it i laugh but then the fact that somehing really bad and serious can happen to me if i drink again.. now my skin got some bad marks for drinking a few months ago at a wedding. i drank and got so itchy, i scratched till i was bleeding haha bad right? i hate the marks i hope they go away very soon, i can't wear shorts.
i have friends who can really drink but they get so drunk and they all look and act so funny.
the person i hate so much when drunk is my younger brother. he is a monster when drunk.. even goes out of the house and do crazy things.. ask people for a fight and just go crazy.

I too wonder why people drink to celebrate something.I never drink, even don't know how liquor tests. If I have to celebrate something,I would like to celebrate it remaining in my senses.I had once seen a man who was coming from a marriage ceremony on his bike.I was shocked to see the way he was driving. He was unable even to control the steering. It was not only me,everyone on the road was watching him.Suddenly he stopped, alighted from the bike and collapsed by the side of the road senseless. He was taken to the police station.
Is this the way to enjoy.

I hate people too who don't know their limits, let alone think getting drunk is cool and desirable. Only once I got drunk, but not even drunk when I didn't know about myself but when I couldn't control my moves and was giggling all the time, and I know it's not fun and I don't see it as a nice thing. It is also frustrating when you are invited to a community, and you sit there drinking a bit, and feel isolated from the crowd as they are drunk and can't even speak...

People sometimes pretend of having a disposition of being drunk and they enjoy it perhapes. But other people can clearly see his naked senses, be it concious or subconcious.
My words is I'll affect my drink and never my drink will affect me. We should carry personality all the time.

When I drink, it's often all about the moment. I don't think of tomorrow, yesterday, or the problems that go with them. I drink because I wanna have fun. Maybe that's the same with those people. What's more is when someone is already drunk, most of their inhibitions are already gone. They're pretty much doing whatever they want.

I think the idea that we should drink to be social and to celebrate things is a factor. Everyone can tell themselves that these occasions and holidays can still be enjoyable without getting drunk. I do think its ok to have a few drinks but getting full-on drunk doesnt need to happen.. past the age of 22.. or if you are on the jersey shore and do it professionally. I have only ever had 2-3 drinks and once I feel even the slightest bit tipsy I stop I hate the feeling! I dont know why people enjoy it. But it has been engrained in us as tradition, seems something we're supposed to do.
I saw a girl take off her shoes and puke on the side of the boulevard my first year at uni and that imagine stays with me, it was very unladylike.
