views on gay marriage

I know there are millions of views on same gender marriage. I wonder what your views on it are? I know some people say why cant gay people get married in church as well, but MOST of those people dont see it from the other view and say that straight people should be able to have a civil partnership too. I think that only fair, equal for all! I can understand some churhces not wanting to perform gay marriage, but there ARE some out there that want to but legally arent allwoed to (not here in the UK anyway) There are also not as many places open to civil partneships here in the Uk as would perform civil weddings. I personally feel this is discrimination, if you are licensed to peform a civil wedding why refuse a civil partnership if you arent a religous venue? I dont see the sense in that. Surely it makes good business sense to open your busniess to as wide a range of potential customers as possible and NOT to limit your customer base? Do you agree or disagree with gay marriage and why?
