Your killing me with your perfume

Thanks for this discussion, this is 8 months old and i am sure you are blessed with a cute baby, many women can't bear strong smells even if it is perfume; more so during pregnancy, i and my wife use mild real scents made from real flowers only.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this, i am also in your sort, not interested in perfumes. As you mentioned some persons have allergy with perfumes and our perfume may give some unwanted troubles to them. Some persons don't give importance to other persons and they will do this kind of unwanted things

Personally, I have never understood this one wth men or women. Especially when it is to cover up other things like body odors sometimes as well. Don't they ever stop to think about others, and be a little more cautious. I am allergic to some of the colognes out there, so sometimes I find myself avoiding some places because of this.

Ahah! I've experienced this as well in the first and second trimesters of my pregnancy. Some scents also give me headaches. For the same reason I also don't wear perfume that often, but I always bring a small bottle with me in case I will need it (if I stink at some point).

Hello I am aware of the fact that some men and women, pregnant are allergic to perfumes because I use real scent derived from flowers like rose, jasmine, lavender and musk,I do not use perfumes and cologne, they have spirit or other chemicals i use them daily.

Hi, I don't have any problem with strong perfume. I don't use strong perfume. But my wife also become restless when she smells strong perfume. she doesn't like it. But choice of perfume differs from person to person.

my mom is like that. she can smell everything and has a super sensative nose but not me. my kids always tell me when i put too much perfume on because i cannot smell it due to a permanently stuffy nose. apparently, i am an offender as i often wear too much.

Sometimes my nose is sensitive and I will sneeze if I smell some strong smelling. When I go to work and take the lift, sometimes I will smell the strong perfume and I try to hold my sneeze:) I think it is not necessary to wear so much perfume. A light good smelling will be nice enough. I love China

Lol..yeah there are women who just wears too much perfume...and its worse when your pregnant! I know how sensitive a pregnant women's senses could be. I've been there.

hi, there are some perfume that i don't want to smell because its really strong smelly that usually make us sneeze,and i avoid those kind of perfume actually my perfume are Victoria's' Secret one,and i am thankful because i am not allergic with this perfume.

some people can't judge how strong their perfume smells. and some use lot of perfume so they smell good for longer periods. what they need to know is, use a long lasting perfume. spraying too much perfume at a time is not the solution! it only chokes people around you. maybe you could cringe in front of that person and wonder out loud, "where is that strong smell coming from?"

IN grade school many years ago we had a principle there who everyone knew was coming due to the perfume she put on, it was strong everyday! And as far as I know she didn't need to wear it in a school with kids all around. What bothers my nose these days moreso though is cig smoke, it really makes me run away from someone if the smoke is really strong, I can't tolerate it. It can actually make me want to throw up or gag. It's just how I react to it.

I have learned that there's two main reasons why a person stank even when wearing perfume: when the perfume isn't compatible with our body chemistry or we put too much! We smell differently even if we just took a shower and it has something to do with our body chemistry; there are certain perfumes which are flattering to our own smell, while there are those which just make us smell funny. That;s why sometimes even if the same person wears the same perfume, it smells differently when they have it on. And of course dousing yourself with too much perfume really assaults everyone else's nose within feet away. Maybe someone from their own department should bring their attention on this; considering that they're all about health. Maybe they have a suggestion box or something? That maybe they should go easy on the perfume as too much of anything is also not good.

Oh dear, it sadness for you. Sometimes people use some disgusting perfumes that smells horribles or cheaper. I hate when people use this strong fragrance.have a nice day

This topic with the perfumes is bothering me too. My boyfriend, being very big guy (physically big) wears perfume all the time, because he is sweating a lot. I don't like using so much perfume. I have two half full bottles at home, but I shower few times a day, so I don't need this fake smell on my body. If I put perfume on myself it will be below my armpits if I put a new shirt which comes directly from the laundry washed and clean. I will put little perfume, to not get the clean shirt smelly right after putting it on. He is using perfumes all the time. Now he bought one little sweet smell, he is using it every time after washing his body. Late in the night I feel my nose very sensitive to smells. I tell him all the time to not use so much perfume all over, but ... he doesn't listen.

That is there preferences to wear perfumes. We still have to be sensitive in some point, but that is life. It is a part of life to understand their ways of living.

I know, there should be a perfume police! lol! I know that one is wearing too much because I start sneezing when I get close to that person. It also makes my head ache.
