Are You Ready To Die?

Yesterday morning I was in a bad accident on the highway. The night before I prayed to God to forgive me for all my sins, and to accept me into heaven if it was my time to die. I don't normally pray like this, but for some reason that night, I was feeling my mortality. In the accident i was skidding out of control and heading for a highway light. Upon impact, the pole spun my car around and pushed me out of the way before the pole started to fall over. Needless to say, things could have been a lot worse. Before I hit the pole, I felt peace come over me. I was prepared to die in that accident, and death didn't seem like such a bad thing. I walked out of the accident with nothing more than a sore back. Is there some significance in this moment? When faced with death, I was not afraid. I was completely at peace. Give me your thoughts people.

No one can say for sure what exactly happened. However, I do know for sure that God hears our prayers. It does show that life is uncertain and it could end at any time. Maybe it's time to rethink your life. Was this a wake-up call? Anyways, I'm glad things weren't that bad and that you are still with us.

It was a wake up call into making me be more careful about inspecting my car before i start to drive. People don't risk driving your vehicle with bad tires, it can kill you. As far as God, I believe he has some purpose for me which i have yet to fulfill. I will keep living my life the way I have, and maybe he will shed some light on what he wants me to do.

I have never been in a situation like that before. But for some strange reason, I do understand what you mean. I get that complete feeling of peace. Maybe that is something that comes over everyone at that moment. Maybe it is supposed to be that way to ease the pain. But you are lucky to have walked away from that kind of accident. I hope you recover completely with your back. Now you have a different meaning in life. But whatever you do, do not stop being you and live your life for yourself.

First of all, I am so glad that you are ok. I just recently start another coverstation about a car accident which involved 2 cars into a pole. The sad part of my story, one of my family members that was in the car the day before, reported one of the cars that were street racing. Just so sad that we couldn't save a life because some one lost their lives.
But as for me, if I was to die today, I will be ready regardless of the fact that I am scared. I have most things I wanted to do in life. The only thing I would like to do is travel a bit more.

It was a crazy experience for me. One of my tires blew out which caused me to lose control. If I learned anything it's to not take chances with tires anymore.

I wouldn't end my life, but I can't say I've lived a life worth living either. This accident was just one of the misfortunes I've had in my life, and I'm tired of being kicked while I'm down.

I have to live by his will, I just hope he sheds some light on what direction I'm supposed to go.

Thank god you managed to get out safely from that accident. Hmm, about your question, to me, everyone will die, it's just a matter of time. If it applies to me now, I would say no because I'm still young and there is so much more things that I want to achieve. Maybe 20 years down the road or more, I might have a different answer from now.

hmmm sooner or later we have to die.In my point of view, all of us should work every time having this idea in our mind.do not get me wrong ,I am not saying we must suffer everyday with that idea.Specially when we get angry or feel bit greedy we must think back and remember no matter what I do,some day I should prepare to die.So if we help others in our live it will be easy when that day came.do not you think?
