Our President declared Manila-Philippines on RED ALERT and other places. Most places here in metro city are already submerged on waters as high as 5-10 feet (more or less) At this moment, one mylotter who lives in Subic posted a photo here in mylot. Her house is already on waters and there's no power in their area. Another mylotter who lives here in metro city also suffers the same (waters inside their house and no electric power) One mylotter is in danger of flood-she's now on alert, anytime water may rise (crossing my heart hoping it wont') The other mylotter who lives in nearby provincial city is safe but stranded. I am also in same situation...I am still safe but anytime power may cut due to this Non-stop rain and water keep rising everywhere. I wish other mylotters especially here in the Philippines are safe...hope to hear from you soon guys http://ph.news.yahoo.com/heavy-downpour-cancels-more-classes-for-aug-7.html jaiho® 8-07-2012 3:23pm Tuesday PT

My place here at South Metro Manila is more safer but still needs to be aware and ready because still we can't tell what will happen next. The rain still pouring time by time and I hope that people from flooded area still fine and they are already on safer place. Let's pray those people who affected by this calamity and hope that they can rise in short period of time. Have a great day to all and God bless.

Dear sister, I am terribly felt sorry to watch the scene in your place. It’s really a horrible situation for the people in your country. I pray for all to be safe and hope the continuous rain will stop soon. We are helpless when natural calamities hit us. Be safe dear. Praying for all, don’t have much words to say.

hello harper, Sorry for my late response as I am busy with other things particularly with our rescue team. I need to log out and do other things :) Anyway, the rain still pouring and some areas still on waters. According to the latest news and as I saw from different places, it would take few days before everything will be back at normal. Some areas may take a longer time to restore a normal life...(so sad and so bad) as some places have bigger damages. thanks and have a great day

Hi Jaiho, I've been worried by our fellow Filipinos there in Manila. I lived here in Cebu...and we aren't experiencing such. All our prayers are with you. I definitely hope that you are all safe...and hopefully most people are in safe areas already. I've read in twitter about a lady who tweeted that they were stranded. I don't have any updates now but I hope they were rescued already. We all need everyone's help and prayers.

That's really so sad.Your country his facing floods,so is ours,India.Rivers in the northern India are in spate.Water in many rivers is about to cross the danger mark.People living there are evacuating their houses.Fortunately we don't live near any river, but we have been facing power shortage.Everything here has come to a halt.I pray for the safety of your countrymen.Nature is taking its toll on us.

hello else, We're not near on rivers or sea, but this continuous rain caused floods in different parts of our country. There are different factors why this flood happens...I hope the rain would stop :( thanks and have a great day

Same is the situation in our country. Incessant rain is causing havoc.I am safe, but not my countrymen who are living near rivers that are swelling and crossing the danger level.I pray God to save all across the world. Thanks a lot.All my well wishes for you and your country.

Flooding all over the metro - Vehicles stranded in them midst of the rising flood. Could anyone please help?
I'm glad you are safe and hope you stay safe. We are safe as well and thank God for this. Yesterday I thought the flood would reach our house but so thankful it was just on the road and just at manageable level. Many are in dangerous situations though. They are still up there on their rooftop and waiting for rescue. I wish I have a helicopter or a motorboat so I could help them. I really pray that this rain stops by now. It has been devastating the whole Metro Manila and nearby provinces. So sad that many lives have been lost already.

hello salonga, I was safe and my area somehow is on safe ground. But early this morning I saw that the water starts to rise on the streets. Then by late afternoon I can see it almost reach our garage. So,I went outside and check and saw that the main road already is on traffic jam. The South bound lane is already closed and the service road in front our place is already on waters too. Was in panic and fear. Thanks God the rain somehow stop a little this evening and the water subsides as well. thanks and stay safe too

a pleasant day jaiho2009, the weather for the past weeks is really alarming. we really need to pray a lot. in this situation, God is only the answer. everything is uncontrollable. it was a flooded here yesterday, as a result, the power service has been shut down as a safety precaution. this morning, the rain has stopped but it was again restarted this afternoon. well, i am really hoping that everybody will be fine, even those who are not included in Mylotters-Philippines. the best remedy and the best thing to do is to pray, as only God can give us the best answer.

I would say weather gets so ferocious on us. May be this ceasless raining comes from large global calculation of global weather. Looks like raining in philipine surpasses its limit. I would say at anytime electricity can get off. So provisions like candle, firbox, gas, drinking water should be stored so before the rain will get beyond your handling. Rescue team should take the most vulnerable people to safer places. Praying for you would keep well and encounter this catastrophie so safe and skillfuly.

hello Kashidanga, Most places are now suffering from power and water outage. Foods and waters are the most important for evacuees at this moment- clean clothes as well as most of them haven't salvaged anything except from the clothes they wear. thanks and have a great day

Hi, I am deeply worried about the people in the affected area, I am praying that there will be no more casualties (i read in the news paper that there were 22 casualties) and that the rain will stop already. I can remember how it was like in our place in CDO it was horrible. My family wasn't affected but some people we know were. I pray to God that the situation will ease down and everybody will be alright and safe. God Bless the Philippines.

There are some reports that say this is a worse situation than ondoy - but purely from rainfall (since ondoy's devastation was aggravated by waters released from dams). My family is lucky, we live in a subdivision in Paranaque and although there is heavy wind and rain non-stop, we don't get flooded. I wish our kababayans get the help they need. some are really stranded, and they had to wait on their roofs overnight for rescue. I can't imagine what that must feel like, I mean, I have a baby! Thank God we are spared, but we are praying for those poor families..
