This is a new mix that is a Betty Crocker product. The mix makes twelve cupcakes with different types of middle....yellow cake with fudge middle....chocolate cake with marshmellow filling in the middle and oreo....they are so awesome. I made them for the first time for my little granddaughter birthday...and have made them several times since. My oldest granddaughter was here for two weeks and we made them twice as she just loved them. Have you tried this new product? They are fun to make and yummy to eat.

I have never tried those but they sound like a lot of fun. I used to bake with my daughters all the time when they were younger but they are too big for that now..lol..unless we are having slumber party night and they are both here. I am excited to bake with my grand daughter when she gets big enough.

I've seen these at the store, but I haven't tried them yet, though they do look like they would be fun to make and also to eat. The reason that I haven't tried them is mostly because of the fact that our family really doesn't eat a lot of cake, I would hate to spend the money that they ask for these cupcakes for them to only go to waste.
However, both of my children have birthdays that are coming up in the next couple of months and I might try these for their birthdays.

I did not know Betty Crocker had these cupcakes mixtures! They sound yummy! I should buy some and try them out! I have not baked anything in a long time! This might be a good thing to try to get back to baking again!

I have never tried that new product before. But the way you describe it, it does sound really yummy and delicious. I will try to look for it at my local grocery store for this type of product the next time I am out on a shopping trip. It sounds like a lava cake. I do like jelly filled donuts but I never had a jelly or fudge filled cupcake before.

Mornin' Jill,
Leave it to you to find something that's not only fun to make, but sounds simply delicious! I have not heard of them and haven't seen them on the shelves yet.
Thanks for the tip and I know for sure I'll go looking for these. What a great idea!
I'm sure it will be fun to make these with my granddaughter too.

Funny you should say that... I have a box in my pantry waiting for a time to bake them! I almost did twice when my grand daughter visited, but things just got to busy and we didn't get to them. And this past week, I have been craving something sweet and keep thinking to bake them but with this heat wave...just don't want to fire up the oven! I think I was really interested in them cause it is 12 and not 24 like normal cake mixes. I might give them a try today...in the toaster oven!! Thanks for commenting that they are good!

Thanks for making me aware of these. Never heard of them and never saw them on the shelves. This would be a great idea for my sweet tooth hubby and I can enjoy one now and then as cupcakes are a portion size already compared to a whole cake! I have a problem with portion control when it comes to baked goods!
