Manda, hope you enjoyed your vacation a lot. Don't worry too much. You can always relax yourself and get back to comment in here, when you are free. I had been on and off in here, when i have the chance to have some short vacations during the school break of my son. I am planning for a much longer vacation within the next few months time. Happy vacation to you and family...

I like going to ruins. Rome was a lot of fun for me, probably would've been more fun if I hadn't been stuck with family and tours! I enjoyed going to Stonehenge, Sarum, Avebury and Bath.

Hi Manda,
Sorry to be so late in responding to this. Glad to hear that you had a great time on your vacation! It has been years since I've actually taken a real vacation. I'm not whining though. I work long hours for four days out of the week which gives me 3 days in a row off during the week. While I can't afford to really travel and do a vacation so to speak, this kind of time does allow for day trips and just wind-down time. If I go anywhere, it is usually to gather my girls and go to the ocean for the day. I grew up on the coast and I always crave it. It's always a good time. Camping is also a fun time although not as relaxing as you'd think if you only have a couple of days. Just time away from the job is always something I look forward even if I just stay home and do whatever....freedom!

I love walking around and just seeing the sites. if I am in a city that is on lakes, rivers or especially the ocean, I love walking to the water and walking along the water. I love seeing the water. If I am in a hilly or mountainous area, I love looking at the mountains and being in the mountains. I mainly like looking around at the scenery and that is very relaxing.
Where are you on vacation?

Sounds good to me. I am in Central Texas and it is 100 day after day after day. I sure would like to be at the beach.

I love being on vacation but I never been one to relax, I'm always out and about doing things.
I love to hang out at the lake or pool and have a nice cold drink

I never have been on a real vacation. I never have saved up money to have one! I have tired but life always throws a wrench in it! If I could I would love to go to the Kentucky Horse park in Lexington,Kentucky. Horses are my thing! I have vaction in like 8 days for a week. I have no plans except to relax,Mylot, work on putting songs on my I-Pod (finally) and putz around my apartment.

Vacation would be nice, because out of a boring routine. I am retired, so I'm off every day.

Hi. Am happy to learn that you are having fun with your family on your vacation. During my vacation, I just enjoy thinking nothing about the work. Eating and simply lying down on the bed while watching comedy shows/movies definitely make me relax. I wish I will have a vacation again.

Hi MandaLee,
Glad to know that you're having a nice time with your family while on vacation. It is really enjoying to be having a vacation with our family and with friends too. Going to some places in a new place or simply relaxing with them in a nice cottage or in the beach is really relaxing and fun.

If I have my vacation on a beach, I prefer to lie on the sand and feel the breeze and waves of the water if I go to a forest like place I just enjoy the scenery of God's creation. Most of all I don't allow any work-related problem when I am enjoying my vacation.

I found myself having huge attraction with different adventure activities. It's one thing that made me realized how wonderful the world is. I love doing trips into the woods such as trekking, camping, and mountain climbing. I'd love to do para sailing, surfing, wind gliding, jet skiing, zip lining, etc.

After many years of not vacationing, I recently went on a mini holiday with a group of friends. We hired a bus and had 3 days of non stop activities, it was awesome.
We are going again in October when I will also celebrate my 6oth birthday and we have some great times planned for then as well.
Prior to these type of holidays, I would go camping and my favourite times were going off exploring on my own and reading.

My husband and I enjoy going out alone and spending time with just the two of us together. We try to do this on a yearly basis. We spend two to three days alone to relax every once in a while. Anywhere far from home, around three to four hours ride would be fine, nowhere specific, just away from the pressures of home and work.
But when with the whole family, we prefer going to places where the kids can enjoy swimming, in beaches or resorts. But we usually just stay there for a day only. It's difficult to bring that much clothes and other necessities for the three kids you know. :)

hi dear Manda Lee I am glad you had such a great family time.
I am late in commenting cause I was working till 17th and had last week and have also this week off.
I just love staying home nto only for financial reasons.
Not having the alarm clock getting me out of bed, instead enjoying as much coffee as I want, being online, writing snail mail and reading are my favourite things to do when I am off work.
Plus not to forget my church. I try to at least go to one Weekday Holy Mass a week when I dont have to work.
