"Have you ever seen a ghost?" I am not referring to a ghostly figure or sounds in the dark or read a ghost story ghost written by a ghost writer. A ghost that seen up close by our naked eye. At first, I am not a believer with the idea of ghost existence, overturned when an unexpected presence from a short trip to lowlands with my sister. My sibling and I travelled early morning to visit our parents, migrated in the province for family business per se. We were left in our hometown to be independent individual and to pursue a degree in the University. The travel itinerary had some few set backs, spend time to bond with the parents. Then, along the way back to our hometown. It must be dozed of sleepless nights from a previous weekdays for finals in school. I managed to take a quick nap, ignoring the other passengers too busy with their conversations. I assume for about 30 minutes, I've noticed the passengers were not murmuring or whispering, I took a peek and started to waken up, staring at the other side of the road. A bit disoriented, but the visibility of a woman wearing a white dress. It was an odd, that she was walking at the side of the cliff. In addition, she was waving her right upper limb in a slow motion to the vehicles travelling from the city to the province. Moreover, the lower limbs were in a state of ambulation, but not bearing weight on her feet. It is remarkably floating, estimating 10 inches above the ground. The undescribable chill filled the van that we were riding on. The van passed through from our lane, the passengers started to discussions of what they have witnessed. as I moved my head towards the rear side of the vehicle, attempting to check her face, no visibility had seen since the head stooped down that seems she is lost something on the ground. At that point time, I can't explain the feeling to see a lady for real. Now, I may say the myth of white lady prevailed. Do you believe or experience with this so called a restless soul?

@Shavkat wow that is such a cool yet creepy story! I haven't heard about this one before so I've never seen anything like her.
I've never seen a ghost but I have seen things called Shadow People. I do not believe they are the spirits of people. They are more dark and possibly from another dimension which is a theory thought by many. They are not friendly either. I'm happy that I don't see them anymore but I still worry I might.
I've had other weird things of hearing people that were "not there." Or things moving or turning itself on and off. Again, luckily those days appear to be over but sometimes I feel like I am being watched.

@Shavkat That is so interesting that you sometimes feel your passed loved ones around you!
Trust me when I say, you really don't want them around you. I don't know what they are but I can 99.9% guarantee that they were never humans. They are evil. There are a few different types of Shadow People. I've only experienced the cloak looking ones. They can be extremely fast too.

@VivaLaDani13 When my old man passed away 5 years ago, his presence is so strong at that time.I think he was trying to say goodbye with us. For us, we consider him our angel. On regards to black shadows, I do think they are bad entities.

You kind of freaked me out when I read your discussion! I never had had an experince with ghosts or spirits but I do believe in them! I believe you saw a ghost/spirit! I believe anything is possible and there is alot we can not explain. I even believe some people have restless souls when they die and are looking for peace. Sounds like the White Lady is one!

I absolutely do believe in ghosts and I have seen one several times in my life. The most vivid experience that I had was when I was nineteen years old and I was taking my boyfriend, best friend and her boyfriend home from my house. We were cutting across a back road and all of a sudden we saw something seem to spring out of the creek, it was huge and very white. At first I thought that I was the only one that saw it. However, a minute later when I mentioned it, my friend said that she thought that she was the only one that saw it. Then my boyfriend said that he saw it as well, we all still remember it to this day.

I guess what I believe is that I just don't know. Many feel that there are many levels of life existing in different frequences and sometimes in someplace there is a slip between them. I just accept that these events happen and really have no need to find an explaination. But I would have loved to have seen that.

What so say? You said that you witnessed for everything what you experienced and we, those who are not believing or not experience will still say NO to it. Now based on your narration, I can't resist but this is a one-of experience and such kind of experiences are there for a lot of people, through out the time. Even in TVs and other medias, typical experiences have been narrated. Any way, I never felt such thing in my life so far and the world around says there is something like and from my opinion this is a kind of imagination and which feels different people differently.

Me, personally do not believe in ghosts. The way I see it here is that not only were you waking up and groggy, but that probably was not a ghost. There is no solid proof that the women was a ghost at all. She was probably real but appeared to look different and strange. The chances you have seen a ghost are not very good here. But you have to believe what you believe, no one can change your mind on that. If you believe she was a ghost, then believe it. I am not a believer of that kind of stuff.

I do believe in ghosts and so I can't rule out the possibility of the lady you saw being a restless soul.I have never seen or encountered a ghost, but have felt something spooky present around me.This had happened in a desolated building situated in between two graveyards. It was noon and I was in the building to avoid my father's anger for having bunked my classes.Suddenly I felt as if something invisible driving me out of the building immediately.I felt that something was staring at me from a corner of the ceiling.I left the house as hurriedly as I could.
Thereafter my mother saw a lady cooking something in our kitchen at midnight. All our family members were fast asleep then.My mother thought it might be my sister-in-law,the wife of my elder brother, but the next moment she saw my brother's room shut and dark.My mother returned to me frightened and told me what she had seen.I went with her to see who the lady was,but the lady was not there and the kitchen was shut.It all happened within a couple of minutes. The next day my mother asked my sister-in-law whether she was cooking in the kitchen at night, but she replied in negative.
Even now nobody in my family knows who the lady in the kitchen was.Was it a ghost?
