Hey guys, So, I have recently started cooking, it has been a pretty exciting thing for me as I am not very experienced with this but I am enjoying this so far.I hope to learn to make some new dishes and learn some recipes too. It's been pretty hard for me to learn to cook some dishes but some have been fun. What do you think?Do you like cooking?Do you enjoy it or find it hard? What is that you think is easiest for you to make and you cook it well?
Thanks!

Well I find cooking now a lot easier than before. There are so many television shows that features cooking and recipes are also very easy to get on the net. Not like before where you have to buy cooking books which are also quite expensive. I am not saying that I am very good at cooking but there are dishes that I know I am good at. In fact from time to time, I treat my family with my cooking and they do love it. My favorite would be crabs with garlic sauce, calamares, shrimp in chili sauce.. I find them very easy to make.

I think I am one of the happy husbands who loved cooking. It is because, I was fortunate enough that my parents had teach me how to cook some of the basic foods we eat in our everyday life. I never had complaints about cooking right now for my family. I only downside of it is that I had to wake up at around 4am every morning to prepare for my family's breakfast. I've been doing it for more than 10 years now and I think its been part of my life right now as a parent. We had a simple cook book which I used at least once a month. Some of the dishes there was already memorized and maybe perfected it.

Oh man,it's good that you have been taught by your parents to cook the basic foods. Not everyone does it,but the part of waking up at 4 am seems to be a challenge and a trouble.I am guessing you are really good at cooking. Thanks!:)

When I was starting to learn how to cook, for me its really hard but with proper guidance and instructions of my grandmother and mother everything turns easy maybe because I love cook and I really want to learn. The most easiet way for me to cook are eggs, steam fish and grills foods because you just need to spice them us and put some vegetables and you have a good dish.

Right now, its really hot in my area, so use my crock pot and microwave a lot to cook. During the cooler months, I enjoy cooking many different dishes and trying new recipes that I find online.

I am not very good at cooking. I find it really difficult to cook some foods at times. I try to look for new ways to cook things online to find new and maybe more interesting meals or foods to cook. I do like to experiment with all types of different foods to cook and eat. I think maybe I should take some cooking classes at a night school to earn new things to cook and eat.

I've been cooking most of my life, and it really depends on the dish and how I'm feeling as to how hard it is. Soups and stews are easy, especially with a crock pot or pressure cooker. Roasting meat isn't hard if you have a recipe or other guidelines to follow until you've got some experience with it, and it's crazy what you can throw together and either stir-fry to serve with noodles or rice, or add a can of cream soup and some cooked pasta to make a casserole.

Oh, it's good that you don't consider as hard as some people do.Cooking is not as easy for everyone as we need some experience for doing it too!

I think to learn some new dishes could be pretty hard and could be fun because in my opinion it is depend on the dish, each dish has their own way to be made so it could tasted good and also the ingredients. I do like cooking because for me it is a fun activity, cooking brings me joy. Cooking instant noodles is the easiest for me because I just need to boil some water to cook the noodles and the ingredients are ready to use so it is easy.

I am not a big fan of cooking especially of preparing big meals for holiday. Some people love that kind of stuff but I do not.
That being said I love to steam cook food. Have your tried using a steamer to cook for your food. It is easy, fun, and pretty fast. I use one of those electric steamer that also has a tray for seasonings and spices. When you steam food it keeps in the natural juices and colors so the food looks and taste great.
Steamers are especially good for veggies, rice and fish. If you haven't tried one you might want to consider it. They are easy to use, and easy to clean up and the food looks great when you take it out of the steamer.
Good luck and have fun learning.
