my comfort zone is my room. it is the first place i want to hide myself when i feel sad or if i am having a trouble to tend to. i feel so secure in here. i can find a peaceful mind when i need to blow ideas to come up a better decision and so that i can plan how to solve my problems.
it is also the place for me when i need to rest when so tired with all of the activities in life. doing my projects and my room is the right venue and so as when i am studying for my exams. when starting discussions or posting a reply, i prefer doing it inside my room to have privacy and all. my room is my friend.
what about you, please name a place you like to hang at when a certain happenings are occurring into your life. thanks :)

My bedroom too. When i get home from work, i will lie down first and close my eyes for a minute, to relax my body and mind. I also love working, watching tv and reading inside my room. It's comfortable. I always put some decorations and room perfume for nice ambiance. Every two weeks i make sure that i change my bed sheet and pillow cases. :)

oh yeah, i forgot to add that it is nice when you maintain it clean with nice smell of your pillows and its cover and your blanket, bedsheets and such. nice of you that you put television inside the room. me, i am too busy to have time for watching television. well, i can if allot time for it but i prefer netting than watching over tv stations.
hmm, i do not want to spend much money for coffee, so if wanted it, just at home and make my own. in this, i can save money for this.
thanks for joining in this discussion :)

haha - we have the same thought about this mate. i guess because we can privatized our own room and claim it as ours. and that when you do not want to be disturbed while resting or as we burst out our emotions, we can lock our door to that. and that we go out, when we do not want intruders to get inside to mess our things, we can close it also. so it can be considered as our great possession. :)

wow, that is so scenic seeing beautiful plants and cold ambiance it offered. for sure in the garden you used to sit is having a fresh air, not just that but with a smell so sweet. nature really has its way to give comfort to us human. that is why we need to tend it carefully to preserve its natural way and beauty. mutualism occurred when two things or person can get benefits from one another by give and take process.the case is you are goodly taking care of your garden so, you garnered an award that cannot be paid with anyone and that is priceless (sitting there peacefully)
;) thanks

My comfort zone is my home. This is the best place for me to stay or hide to anybody. When I am unhappy and having lots of problems in life I just stay home, think nad trying to find a better solution to my problems. I feel very secure inside my home because I know I aside from my husband no one can enter our home without my permission.

right at that. our house is a place we can have our security and that no illegal intruders allowed inside or else it would be trespassing and you can sue the person for that. a home also is a place where our love ones live and our best confidante when feeling tired and hopeless in life. we really like to go home when feeling restless even we visited places that are very nice and wonderful, still we are longing to go home. for nothing a place like home ever. :)

i agree with you. i guess it is a matter of tolerance and how you engage yourself to what you like. for mind is a powerful tool to make things possible. sort of like that. and for now, when i am studying, i do not want to stay in my room because the temptation to sleep in my bed is so strong that i cannot fight it. so instead of studying my lesson, i slept and would love to do that. so thanks for joining ;O)

When I was still single my comfort zone is my room. From there, I can let my frustrations go out without restraints and cry myself out until I am relieved. But now, I am already married, luckily, I have been happy with life. I am perhaps blessed with a caring and loving wife an a wonderful child. Well, I am no longer alone in the room but with my family with me, no matter where we could be, I feel comfortable and happy. Perhaps they are my comfort zone...

very good for you. yes, i agree that your family can be considered as your comfort zone where you can rely with your husband and share your thoughts of anything; happy and sad stories and feelings. it is nice to know that there is a home that awaits you when you go home; with your hubby and child. they are too precious in life as we consider. you are so lucky indeed

a pleasant day to you missjahn,
same as you are, my comfort zone is my room space. although this is not solely mine, as i am sharing space with my mother. i do have my room space before but when i left before, they, made my room as a stock room. and they didn't bother to clean it. as a result, when i came back, i cannot use anymore. but, i am looking forward to have my own unit in the future. to secure even a studio flat that i can call my own. as i somehow pity myself being here at our own home for some reason.

hello there aira, thank you
comfort zone does not require us to have it alone. as long as we have a place to rest when we are tired, it so then a great space for ourselves. you and my sister have the same situation. she cannot use her room for now because of some circumstance and sometimes she shared a space in my room. she used or put a mattress down the floor and there, she is taking her relaxation. sometimes she likes to brought her lapton inside the room and there she will do her works and netting.
well, i am sure you can get a space of your own in the future and please do not pity yourself. at least we are having a place reserved for ourselves to rest our self from restless activities and pressures in life.
thanks for joining in here :)

Well, even though I have my own room, where I go when I have to actually plan something, or simply just to relax, I still prefer to go outdoors. Out there it seems that my mind is more open.
Sure, and I say this explicitlyis not good the air you breathe as you can understand how living in the city, there is the problem of pollution.
But sitting on the benches of the square near my house, I am comfortable.

ah huh - nice just to make a change of route where to relax but i guess you can find peace in that place. sometimes, i went to the beach to meditate in there if i have big problems and if i am so bothered with any unpleasant thoughts. beach is very relieving of your stresses with the beautiful views, fresh air, and the sound of it is so relaxing. i can imagine it now. it is really nice when we can find comfort in a certain place. love it so much.
thanks ever for following this post :)

hi,
yes, i feel so free , when i am in my room, my computer, bed , table, cupboard everything is very special, . I like each an every aspect of my room, with my pets photograph/frame hanging on one side, of the wall, the other side my photograph with my siblings, everything is perfect, but sometimes you find it untidy too with things thrown here and there, but that's my room , love it , in any state.

My comfort zone is my room also. there, I feel at peace and I have privacy. Whenever I feel sad, just go to my room. Whenever I need some quiet time for study, I go to my room. In short, my room has been my paradise and my zone. But when it comes to posting discussions, I prefer doing it in the living room since there is a desktop computer there.

yes, of course. there are persons really who considered the toilet as their comfort zone. oh well, true and please excuse me for what i am going to say, because if you want to remove your bowels and pee, this is the right place and after that, you feel such relieved. that is why toilet can be considered as one of the comfort zones.
thanks for posting in here, threading the topic. thanks

I believe that my comfort zone was not only in a place but its also in my feelings and instinct, my comfort zone (place) was my home I cant live without my mom and I feel secure inside of our house, my next comfort zone (feelings and instinct) was for not being talkative or telling more of your feelings and what is on your mind time by time. Also expressing yourself to others and telling secrets is like you haven't wear any clothes, they will judge you easy and talk about anything they like. So my point is don't give your all always think before you speak.

true at that. comfort zone is not just a place, but also a thing where you can rely confidently and give your trust fully. like living in your home where your mother awaits you in you there.
you have a point in there, that it is not necessary to tell all your secrets to anyone. if you need to keep it confidentially, then you can claim it on your self. good thing that sometimes we zipped our mouth as a precaution to stay yourself away as the center of chisms and of unpleasant thoughts. we should do like that because we cannot force someone to stop talking for there are really persons who love to drag you down.
thanks for joining this thread :)

as for me, i do have the same comfort zone as yours. thought it's not that big not that pretty enough. my room serves as a sacred place for me. I pray, i cry, I eat and do almost all things that I can think of here. well, speaking of crying I do cry here a lot especially in front of my mirror. It is where I pour my heart out every time I get broken hearted or when I just feel depressed with things. I just pray and pour out all my sadness and depression to God in my altar. well, I simply love my room and I can't trade it with any other room.

good for you that you have a space for yourself to pour your tears and for resting your tired body. sometimes, when i am crying i would like to see my face in front of the mirror. and then what happened was that, i cried more because I pity myself seeing me crying, feeling hurt. like you too, my room is the place where i uttered my silent prayers more if i have confusion pertaining something and asking guidance from God.
thanks for joining in this conversation. :)
